Hmmm, quite difficult.. The 145 is a small heli, very managable and agile.More suitable for short legs. The 160 is quite a big boy and has a retractable wheel gear, which makes it easy to roll onto taxiways in larger airports. It is quite fast, up to 160 mph in cruise, so well equipped for medium range hops. Both have a very good autopilot, which make it IFR capable and ILS landings are possible. Sooo, i love them both and cant make a decision, which I prefer... There are very good youtube videos of both, maybe they can help you decide ( e.g. creators Jaydee or Theflyingdoctor). 😉 Tris

Hi, this works very well for me, even on my 2070ti-card. The only problem I have is with the Fenix A320. I choose it on the World map, choose my airport and start it. Then in the loading window the fenix app starts as normal, but then MSFS got stuck and I never get to the "Fly Now"-screen. This only happens with the Fenix. PMDG, Flybywire, ATR, E-Jets, A310, FSR, Hondajet etc. all work perfectly.. Anyone has some suggestions? Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays! Tris

Hi Guys, I am currently running P3D 2.5, but after reading about all the improvements I chose to upgrade to V3 in the near future. But I got a little confused while thinking about mesh, autogen, landclass and regions.... In P3D2.5 I am using FSS Global 2010, ORBX Global Base, ORBX Vector, ORBX Open LC Europe and NA, several ORBX regions like Pacific Fjords and more of them. For V3 I am thinking about getting GEP3d for autogen and ground textures because of its stunning looks. I learned, that I must not use ORBX Global Base wit GEP3d. So far, so good. But is it necessary/possible/ would you suggest to use ORBX Vector, ORBX Open LC and all of the ORBX regions? And which mesh product would you suggest? Still FSS Global? Hi, with the help of the masjestic support I was able to solve the problem: It was a copy protection issue. Since my operating system is different (Windows10 now, 8.1 before), the previous Q400 install is invalid. I deinstalled the q400, downloaded the 1.016 Full installer from majestic and installed it. Now everything works as expected. Thanks again for all your help, Tris

Hi Guys, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and after a few problems P3D 2.5 now works well with all addons, but.... I upgraded the Q400 with the 1.016 patch and now everytime I load it on any airport, it bounces up and down, so that the IRS will not align and all monitors had this bouncing shown on all the values like level, QNH, even Oil pressure bounces up and down. Unlike the well known bouncing issue from some times ago, this will not stop after a few seconds, but continues on and on. Anyone able to help me? Thank you in advance, Tris

Unfortunately all hints and tips did not work with my rig. Therefore I downgraded back to Windows 8.1. Now everything works again. Thank you all for the help. Tris

Hi Guys, today I upgraded to Windows 10 and everything went well. But due to P3D I got a problem: everytime I start P3D I choose a plane and airport and start it. Plane and airport are loaded as usual, but a few seconds after everything is loaded, P3D crashes to desktop. Hi Guys, first thank you to FlyTampa for this update. But unfortunately I got an issue: I downloaded the new version (via Aerosoft), installed it and all seems quite normal. But after installing it I now get a P3D application error, everytime I try to start it. There is no difference if Vienna is activated in the scenery library or not. Dear Guys, I am currently running my P3D on Windows 8.1. Am I correct that the upgrade to Windows 10 will probably not require a complete new install of P3D? It would be a real nightmare to reinstall all those addons.... :blink: Thanks in advance, Tris

Hello, guess what: I solved the problem myself! It was connected with the Windows firewall. I deinstalled F1GTN and GTN trainer, and deleted all remaining files and folders, than I switched off my firewall completely. I redownloaded the GTN750 and the trainer and reinstalled all with the firewall off. Afterward I switched the firewall on again and tried the GTN. And now it works!! Nevertheless I just want to thank the F1 support team for their quick responses and provided help. There are not much providers with such exceptional customer service! my best regards, Tris

Dear Matt, to which modules exactly do you have to add it manually? In addition I learned on the forums, that the first time you loaded an aircraft with the GTN a window opens, where you have to direct to the path, where the Garmin Trainer Lite is. Such windows never opens with me. Maybe that is the problem. But where to direct than to the correct path? Tris

Dear Simmers, I purchased the Flight1 GTN750 for my GA Aircrafts in v2.4. I installed the GTN750 from F1 and I installed the Garmin Light Trainer as requested. I ran the F1 GTN config program and all seemed well. But in each plane I tested, even if it has a genuine install option for the GTN750 like the Realair Turbine Duke, or not (e.g. Carenado Seneca, Carenado Phenom, Epic Victory...) the GTN750 Panel remains black. The instrument itself is visible, even intergrated in the panels or as popup, the knobs are turnable, but the "touchdown screen" remains black... And yes, the Avionics is on. Anyone able to help me, what I did wrong? Sorry for my incompetence.... :blush: Tris

Hi, actually I do own all 3 of them and each is a very different airplane. The Majestic is a Must have IMHO, its very nice to fly, very good FMS/AP . It is no GA, but a small "airliner", if you know what I am trying to say. The Milviz 350i is in the Alpha-Stage, therefore some things( like RNAV) does not function yet, but this Alpha-plane is much more "ready" to fly than some other "final release" products (the Hawker comes in mind...). It has an upgradable FMS and much more gimmicks and you will profit from all future updates until the final product with no additional costs. There might be some time until the final product, but I get regular free updates, if something new was implemented and tested ! The Flight 1 200 is a very nice plane , too. It has no "real" FMS, but a quite good Garmin 1000-Avionics with all its pros and cons. So, I hope this may help in your decision. Happy Landings, Tris

Dear Simmers, i recently purchased the 350 i-Alpha and ,Boy, what a nice plane. Better than some "finished" releases. But I am experiencing a little problem during ILS approaches (probably my fault): I set up the ILS approach in the FMS, 40 nm before the destination I set up VNAV in the FMS, Arm Approach and Tune Approach, insert the ILS-frequency in NAV1, but than: how to set the ILS course? Yes, there are the CRS1 and CRS2-knobs on the AP-panel, but I could not see where/if/how the course is changed. In my other favorite, the Majestic Q400, there is the famous "Format"-Knob to press and then in the "blue needles"-screen enter the course with CRS1 / CRS2, but I found nothing similar in the King Air. I hope, someone may be able to help me. Thank you very much in advance, Tris

Dear simmers, I have several ORBX products installed (Global, Vector, LCEurope, FTX Australia, FTX England/Wales/Scotland and a bunch of airports) and am quite happy with the looks of it. But while using demanding aircraft ( e.g. PMDG777) I am experiencing sometimes OOMs, ironically especially when I approach ORBX airports. This is very annoying after a Long Haul Flight.... I learned that ORBX Vector uses quite a lot of memory, and I still only use the primary roads option (secondary, tertiary roads disabled) and therefore I would like to uninstall Vector to see the difference. But I am unable to find any uninstall-program within my data folders. Are there any ways to safely uninstall FTX vector? I do not want lower my LOD or other details anymore to avoid the OOMs. Another oppertunity would be, as I am using the Simstarter programm, to disable the corresponding vector files, but where to locate them? Hi Guys, I just purchased the Hawaii scenery, but in my account download area there are only htm-files, not zip-files. This htm-file is only 12 MB in size. In the mail the store sent me, the download links lead to those htm-file, too. Anyone has advise how to proceed? Thanks in advance, Tris

@ Carlo: I had no problems with the performance, but I use Air Traffic Manager as well. That cuts a lot of VAS, too, i think. By the way: this Air Traffic Manager is in my opinion THE must have and freeware winner of the year !!! @ David: Yes, getting the right sec to be able to talk to ATC can be difficult. Hi Folks, my thoughts after running MT6 in P3D 2.4 for a few days: never ever without it !! I used MT 2013 and afterwards WOAI before, and had to set the traffic density to 50-60% to see sufficient amount of traffic at my home airport (EDDV). With MT6 I set my density to 20% and there is more traffic than before. The plane models are fine in my opinion, and probably due to the lower density settings no problems with FPS/VAS.
