  2. Looks good, the faster the RAM the better though I'm not sure how much that will help in P3D. You can also drop down to a 550W PSU and still be good if you want to save a few bucks.
  3. What is this? Did I get hit in the head and wake up in r/iamverysmart? As everyone else has already said, the aircraft is NOT compatible with XP11. Period. Any issues you run into while using it in XP11 for the time being are completely unsupported. It's your own fault you assumed that it would work "nearly perfect" like other add-ons when you have absolutely no idea how the plugins used would be affected. I take it you saw the part about it not being XP11 compatible and just decided to chance it? Didn't bother asking the dev or anyone else? Get a grip.
  4. Ah yes had the same issues. If you turn on the option to use XP water it should solve the issue. You can edit the config file in the Ortho4XP folder with Notepad++. Don't remember exactly what it's called.
  5. Where is this exactly? Is it inland? There is an option to use masks for inland water bodies. There is also an option in the config file to use XP water instead of orthos that should solve this.
  6. What are you talking about? Steam page has been up since December.
  7. https://clips.twitch.tv/aerosimgaming/AmusedHerdPanicBasket I will be waiting.
  8. Sounds like you did something wrong because the installer should just download what you need.
  9. That's completely beside the point. Like I said some people just don't want to be part of the beta process at all and why should they if they don't want to? Still it's good to have multiple ways to buy a product.
  10. Regional currency seems to be the only advantage. Does adding a non-steam game still track hours played? Anyways most people don't care/ have time to be using beta updates.
  11. Software OC tend to use more voltage than necessary. Be careful with this.
  12. Thing is a simple art asset improvement is not the type of solution Austin (or Ben) seem to be after.
  13. Better performance almost definitely, better clouds no way.
  14. Nice, stay classy Pete. Mine was between the FF 757v2 or the IXEG 737
  15. Sure but FSX is also over a decade old at this point. New AAA games will defin tely make use of the extra threads as evidenced by superior minimum frames and frame times with an i7 over an i5 even if averga e FPS remains the same.
  16. Then why get an i7? There are tons of applications that make use of HT including XP.
  17. That's not what I was trying to say at all. The point is PMDG take's along time to put anything out, so with that in mind you shouldn't be worried about a release this year IMO. That being said why do you feel the need to buy whatever they do put out as soon as it's released.
  18. And it's nighttime yes. I will let someone else answer the aircraft question.
  19. I think you will be safe in this regard. I don't expect PMDG to release anything for XP this year and possibly 2018. Felipe Vicini
