Orbx Object Flow entry was displayed in violet 😨 I understand your checking logic but it is defeated in Other Addons by the will know Orbx ObjectFlow 2 entry. No .bgl files here ! Ouf... I had this problem with Effects, Sound and Gauge. Concerning Scenery, I have still not found how to have Add-ons.xml to cohabit nicely with FTX Central 😞 , which is my major scenery provider. Regards Gérard

As for the insurance contracts 😉 you better read the small notes on the Learning Center of Prepar3D ! I noticed in my ContentError.txt that some effects were not found when Explorer was saying the contrary. 😞 I am a fervent user of AOP, thanks Oliver 🙂 , so I was sure that my add-ons.xml were well formed !!! Re-reading the documentation, I noted the advice of Oliver : As last resort, I followed it and after lenghty research I found this "note" Bingo ! Hello, I had something more or less similar : it took me 3 months to find out the conjonction of events leading to this CTD. One of the elements is indirectly connected to the way SkyForce interacts with P3D (Simconnect), creating this situation. To know if it as anything common with what I faced, the very first step is to test WITHOUT skyforce. If the CTD is gone, I suggest you send my a PM so that I can, step by step, detail you how I figured out what was the real culprit. Not a simple procedure... Gérard

To check that the view selector was still working, I re-activated the MB View Selector Option. With this option On, the key assignement works OK. But without it, I get this "vanishing" display. (I wanted to get rid of that MB, because I get sometimes conflict with the "middle" click on the VC) Thanks - Gérard

It just appears very briefly and vanish even when holding the key.

Hello Oliver, I am sorry to have raised what seams a "fausse alerte". After lauching P3D once (and closing back), Capo verde did appear in AddonOrganizer :( Does it really works ? After, there was a mess in my scenery.cfg - the (famous) ORBX insertion points were not as I expected. I had to reset them... Before, CAPO Verde was not in AppData\Roaming addon.cfg. They are now there (added by Prepar3D ?). Regards - Gérard Nota : I am following the (hot) debate on Addon Rant - I was tempted to mention that, on a fresh install of 4.1 (nothing else added), ContentError.txt was complaining about the "squeaking brakes_Sound.gau" which was a 32bits dll ! I easily fixed the problem, but that don't looks serious coming from LM !

Hello Oliver, Sorry, again me ;) I just installed (with the supplied installer) FSDG-Cape Verde FREE to take a look. It uses the AddOn organisation recommanded by LM. It creates 3 folders in My Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons - FSDG - FSDG Capo Verde Free - FSDG Capo Verde Library each one with an apparently correctly formed addon.xml. The scenery is recognized by Prepar3D and LittleNavMap, but don't appears in the scenery list nor the packages list of AddOn Organizer (I have updated to the last version 1.26 b01 - was true also in 1.19 and 1.25) Let me know if you want to "see" some files. Hello Oliver, Welcome to the club ! I (and some other people) have a similar issue when SF3D is running ! I found that when P3D crash with no message when SF3D is active, it launche dxdiag.exe just before closing every thing. Check if you also find "dxdiag.txt" (with the date/time of crash) in your C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\ Two topics are open at REX and one at Prepar3d.com (apparently some users have the same kind of problem with different weather engines). Hope they will fix it soon. Gérard

NO, not under Windows 7 64 and UAC disabled Would be great to get at least an error message... and not a blinking running cursor.... Same problem with ChasePlane (why I had to install VFXCentral). Other info ?
