Hello, I am trying to start using VFXCentral : my sim user is a standard, not Admin user as all user's account should be. To install, I am requested to run the installer under Admin user - so far so good. But, to run VFXCentral one also need admin authority (launching under the sim user don't work).. Please indicate how to solve this issue as I will not give admin authority to my sim user. Thanks for your suggestions

Yes, it is a flight planner and as such give you externally a complete view of your flight plan, your actual position, the AI aircrafts and boats around you. At least for that unique possibilty, you should love it, if (like me) you are a user of Henrik Nielson's Global AI ship traffic It is regularly enhanced, while keeping very "Resource-saving". Gérard

Setup is really very simple : may be you should read the Installation pages of the wiki ;) LittleNavMap is primarily a Flight Planner with a lot of facilities. It connects to FSX, and can give you a lot of information on your flight, with no need to modify your aircraft nor your panel, but it does not calculate the taxi route from the runway to gate. Airport Chart Gauge is a gauge, as its name implies, so has to be installed in every panel ..... and is limited to the airport chart... Gérard

Hello, LittleNavMap is the freeware answer (Take a look here - airport diagram)), You can zoom up to the airport layout diagram. It offers a lot of other facilities... Since I discovered it, I can't live without :) Gérard

Another approach would be to use the Airport Map facility of the OpenSource Little NavMap. It has a very nice feature which allow to display only airports which are AddOn. It has also an interesting Search Airport functionality according to various criterias, one of them being "AddOn". Take a look at the documentation https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap.html It is a quickly growing flight planner - I use now this one exclusively (very performant). Gérard

Hello, I am taking a look at your SimStarter which gets a lot of good apraisals ! I will give it a try ! One question about ORBX and Vector. I see, and like it, that you can manage the region change in FTX Central v2. But one of the burdains associated with it, is the corresponding AEC profile to Apply, using Vector Configurator ! I have (and maintain) profiles for each configuration each time I update sceneries. Does SIMStarter take care of it or should I launch Vector Configurator independently ? Cheers - Gérard

Sorry, but apparently, there is no way to update my previous post... So far, on my system and in my saves I found several DX10.INI - C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\DX10SceneryFixer\DX10.INI (Two of them, the admin user and the "real" FSX user) - C:\Users\Public\Documents\DX10SceneryFixer\DX10.INI (with new options) - C:\ProgramData\DX10SceneryFixer\DX10.INI (with same new options) + DX10Patches.ini and DX10Product.ini which have not been updated during the new install...) Can I safely restore the DX10.INI in AppData\Local ? Or, if you think it's better, can you tell me what's are the options I have to activate/desactivate if i send the "diff" between the old and the new... I apologize for my recklessness...

I was too fast to follow FlightsimStore procedure :( and I loose all my parameters I was happy with (but that I don't remember...) I have a backup of everything (I am a bit paranoiac), Is there a file to recover to get them back as before ? Next time I will create a profile, I promise. :blush: Thanks for your help.
