In the past, I installed the airport and the town, but now in p3dv4, there are black textures, and missing objects, the sceneries are not yet compatible, hoop so a remodeling with v4 sdk.

When majestic q400 pro was published, I shared sometimes the cockpit with a pilot from Paris A lot of questions coming and lot of discutions are done through the flyghts (most on cruise level). When I discovered the Airline 2 Sim videos, we are very happy because a lot of questions found reponses in this series... yes accents are a little hard and have more difficult with english (I'm french speaking) but I look the videos in details and now q400 is the plane I flow the best. After purchase and trying few days, I meet your want too. The sceneries, fps and downloads are outstanding but most aircrafts are less. Need one complete and full fonctionnal airplane but not a complexe one... to be able to do quite travels.

There is a comparative table on majestic site. in resume: the hud possibilities to have disfonctions trough the flight sharing and monitoring for a copilot.

Oh man, don't be worry, each one make this mistake but after you don't forget it for ever. Yes the videos are expensive but it worth for the pleasure of the level you fly after with beter knowledges. Majestic q400 is a dream to fly.

Oh I forget... With aerofly, the installation is very easy and upgrades are done by steam without to be boring as in p3d.

Now, is 4 days that I have aerofly on mine computer and wotanUK resume it perfectly and I have a dream for p3dv4... to have the same for some landschapes, fps and timings. but... ... but the airplanes are very basic and I want a beter aircraft to fly. At this level it is more a game "very well done with eyecandies aircrafts and sceneries" that a flight simulator. Just to be correct that "flying models" are more realist vs fsx and p3d. The best to fly and more complete on this sim are learjet and q400.

+1 Never have for a other aircraft, the same informations as the 9 hours of video realised by A2S, a pearl... sure, it is a invest of money and timing to learn, but it worth it. The pleasure to feel more professional in the sim. Sure coming from aerofly2 q400, there are few step to do... As the pin to remove by the ground service with the front door... 😩

I agree get this one directly. This w-e, I acquired and fly with aerofly software for the first time. When you flight from Cold and Dark on p3dv4.1 and enter in a full automated aircraft "ready to fly" as aerofly do, you have the feeling to fly in a ai aircraft. Aerofly to look amazing photorealterrains is well but I stay little dispite by the very basic level of Aircrafts. They are graphicaly perfect but most of avionics don't work. Then the step from dash8 aerofly to majestic one shall perhaps be hard... but the documentation (and videos on flight one store) are well complete. Have fun with this wonderfull and pleasant commuter.

😢😥😓 and again. In 2017, Flying time and installations time compared, I spend more hours to install and finding solutions for a lot of problems and bugs... Simbol explain well the difficult some days to do a complete flight between bugs and our family needs.

Thx Ed for you response. Have a lot in p3d, but was looking to have a second sim more stable without always boring upgrades. The two challenger are actualy Xp11 and AFS 2. Flying complex aircrafts, but sometime like to do quite flys for visiting countries (outside the cockpit) at low level 1000ft above ground, in short hault of one hour.

Yes and no, depend of creators. Personnaly, I directly suspect editors in p3d that show pics of night sceneries or pics at very high altitudes where you don't know if it is only statelite pictures of idem with autogens well placed. Xp have two softwares to do it your self, cactus521 (John) on "avsim screenshots gallery" show this process very well on America (like his work). If it is specific sceneries as volcans of typical regions, first choice is photosceneries. For more common regions, orbx sceneries do well the job.

Hello James, nice shots again, when I read the title of topic, I was sure that is coming from you. Now we see on few picts, the left side: the border of the beautifull Alps. Don't have the least pa42 of carenado... happy with ? This aircraft is very representative of airlines school, it's the livrery you choice ;-) For the east of Europe, Dubrovnic of orbx is mine departure airport to Pologne airports, to Estonia, to Moscow (so I use most of european Drzewiecki sceneries). See you again on your lines ;-)

When I change from XP10 to p3d that was because orbx sceneries are very attractive with a large covering. Now I'm happy to listen the interrest of orbx for xplane, a come back to xp is possible for me because the lost of boring time in installations, upgrades, and corrections in fsx-p3d are... uncredible. How many fsx-p3d planes bugged and never corrected are on the market... a few. There are more liners in XP well done with very fine and more realistic flight-moddel. Old addons from fsx with bad textures just renewed by a new installer and sold expensive for their qualities are poisons in sim. The reason for me to stay now in p3d is the heavy invest I do.

France vfr open the way with 3DA and I suppose that this way now interresting Orbx. Landclasse coverages as orbx sceneries do, take very less disk spaces vs photosceneries but are rapidely very repetitive. The problem of landclasses is the poor choice decided by fsx, 11 years ago and the minimum square in the sim that make unreal aeras with strange cuts, particulary visible between villages and green vegetations. The good way shall be a mix of the two technics, because the full coverage of the world in photorealscenneries is to heavy !

After appreciate this addon fs2crew q400 in v3 voice and after buttons version, I was a little dispite to paid full again to upgrade to v4. It is a well done addon,...but to paid value of v3+v4. in a few months is heavy 😠 for a annexe addon. And to pay again, I prefered to keep this "money for upgrading" and changing of cremery for Multicrew experience who offer all best aircrafts of p3d aircrafts with multi co-pilots for fsx+v3+v4... Per aircraft is a lower cost indeed, actualy the best deal of course for this kind of addon. fs2crew is down for me. The passage for "Family of fsx softwares" from 32bits to 64 bits was in the air when xp10 in 64bits was released few years ago. Then I don't understand why programmers don't incoded the primary codes to be compiled in 32bits with the (pre)-mind to recompiled it after in 64bits. Was not a secret that LM make, trough the p3dv2 and v3 versions, the cleaning of basic code fsx to be able to recompile it in 64bits. Pmdg with Carendo and some ones have plannings to do this evolution.
