Hello! I've been simming for years now with my Thrustmaster (T-flight hotas X) and I've been looking to buy a more modern and advanced stick (or yoke) for flying. I have been given 150 euros (but I can pay some more myself) because I Helped a couple of weeks at a hospital (#under18yrs). Now I'm planning to get the saitek yoke (not the cessna one) or the saitek X55. I fly a lot of different aircraft: airbus, boeing, GA... And I would like to know what would be the best option. The saitek yoke looks nice but does it feel allright? I read some reviews on amazon stating that the metal shaft causes some sticking problems. And is the X55 durable (Quality control?) because I read some other reviews on amazon and some of them were saying that a button was scraping against the throttle and that the stick itself does not move smoothly. Or do you recommend something else in that price category (100 - 200 euros). This is quite a big investment for me as I'm on a budget (#under18yrs) and it would be a dissapointment if I bought the wrong thing. Thanks in advance for your insights! Augustin

I didn't know Opusfsi was capable of this, I tested is once and it gave me popcorn clouds and not that much coverage as in the pick. I didn't undertand the system very well. Can you give me some advice?

Asking the sim for a LOD of 7.5 is just inbound for OOM (out of available memory) errors... Especially with addon scenery. Try lowering your LOD to 6.5 or what I use for a good balance 4.5

Hi For those programs you would need windows 8 (don't know if that's a problem for you) on your tablet (don't know if it could be done on samsung galaxy tab 4). Frooglesim made a review on a windows tablet, but it is more regarding the touch compatability of programs. You can use windows tablets with a mouse. I don't realy know if it's going to be powerful enought tough.

Hi there, I purchased FTX global yesterday from flightsimstore. I installed in FSX first with no problems. I ran FSX and tested day aswell as night. Then I did the same thing for P3D and noticed a huge difference, is this normal? What version is right and what is wrong? What should I do? I kinda think the fsx one is right, but it seems odd to? Is this how it is supposed to be? The P3D (v2.5) version looks completely off... I installed in v2.5 doing to following: I installed ftx global base, got the error in ftx central it couldn't find the terrain.cfg, installed latest libraries and then it worked. I have installed it and I must Say, I'M IMPRESSED. FPS doesn't decrease no matter where I look to... The X-plane default clouds always looked dull to me, just that silly layer of fps-destroying smoke.... Skymaxx gives me these wonderful big puffy clouds that are 3D.. It's a totally different X-perience ( ^_^ ) It's a must have for me!

I already fixed it... I had FXAA-2SSAA set, reduced it to FXAA and everything is fine now, Seems my GTX760 couldn't handle it, I do have a weak CPU...
