  1. I just watched it again. Fascinating. It's like insects.
  2. Really cool. Thanks for posting.
  3. Nice shot. And/or make it outline the AC better.
  4. Wow. Thanks for the fantastic tour write up! So cool! Jealous
  5. Beautiful shots man! Beautiful scenery and aircraft. Thanks
  6. Right. Should have clarified. They changed the UI, but they didn't do a separate tool. I find it unlikely that they would reverse engineer, or take his tool and put it into the core of the sim or UI somehow. They would probably just add the code to the base engine/UI from scratch, to manipulate the shader values just like his tool does. But, I'm not a programmer so take all that with himalayan salt lamp Pe11e, the magic you worked here has made me upgrade from V2.5 to V3. Just happened.
  7. Nice shots. Not familiar with this aircraft but is certainly very cool. Love the unique shape. Love the tail dihedral, and love the cockpit windows. Engine inlets are very cool too.
  8. Well, developers don't always make decisions purely off of a business perspective. You have to understand these guys (FS developers in general) are passionate about what they do. Sometimes they are not satisfied with their work and would rather wait a whole year to release something so they can perfect it to what they envisioned; or they are trying to innovate a certain feature in this case and would rather wait to release it with the new feature.
  9. My bad, I did misquote you. I hear what you are saying. The world most definitely is a funny place. Really, I would say humans are quite strange. Oh well, they are all a product of their environment.
  10. Honestly, I highly doubt LM would use a tool such as he has done. They would just make the shader values the same as he has. However, if they use the values he has come about with, or they used his values to start and tweaked them, his massive contribution should certainly be acknowledged by LM.
  11. I see. Although, there are 2 views; one is Absolute retention which is the basic retention rate. That fits into "any YT video over 2 mins doesn't get watched fully." However, the Relative retention is actually comparing against the retention rate of the same type of videos on YouTube that are about the same length. It could be quite useful feedback for your tutorials. Not telling you to use it, just letting you know. That's kind of a contradiction isn't it? If you don't care if they watch it or not, why put it online? Thanks again for posting the video. I picked up Monument Valley while still on sale. I had forgotten that they had done that area. Also finally picked up Australia.
  12. Frackin beautiful. I think I need to pick up Monument valley; would be great for my videos. Need to sell some stuff, to buy some flight sim stuff. Liking the Shrike? How's the FD? You ever check the Relative retention rate for any of your videos? Thanks for sharing.
  13. Lol. Why should Orbx take note? They do scenery. Shaders are not scenery. Shaders are part of the graphics engine. LM should take note.
  14. Awesome. Glad to hear that! I picked up the original like 2 years ago hoping to get it working in P3d, but no dice. Perhaps I will pick it up sometime this year.
  15. Very nice shots man. Thanks for sharing. Enjoying the Concorde?
  16. Based off those screen shots, no it doesn't. But, due to the difference of location the screenshots were taken its hard to compare. What precisely looks different? I do know, with V3 you can now adjust the HDR settings. Maybe V2's HDR settings and V3's default HDR settings are different. Maybe try playing with those?
