  1. There is no problem using them in both sims, it is just that you need to UNINSTALL FIRST THE V3, redownload the latest installer and reinstall to BOTH sims.
  2. Hi Farlis, I am reluctant because on other threads some people report that the VECTOR Configuration Tool does not work in P3D V4 when doing this sort of "hack". It is a feature I use a lot, especially the airport elevation correction. Can you confirm on your side, or maybe you have a workaround ? Thanks !
  3. Hi again, I have tried this morning with the PMDG 744 at two different gates, and I am happy to confirm that they work. However, GSX was not able to trigger them, I had to do it using the SODE interface. Otherwise perfectly fine.
  4. Hello ! I had this problem two times in P3D V3. I identified the cause has loading the Mooney before the flight and inadvertently engaging the autopilot using my joystick hotkey. I did not notice that during take off because the aircraft was well trimmed and I set the autopilot soon, but the problem showed after during the flight. Some kind of ghost autopilot was trying to do its thing over the PMDG bird. After landing, I re loaded the Mooney - without exiting the simulator -, pressed the key and heard the autopilot disconnect. Voilà ...
  5. I have not tried these, just flew around with the R22 checking for some missing building or glitches.
  6. You can dowload the standalone installer and it works fine by pointing out directly to P3DV4 folder.
  7. Yep, just flew TPE-HKG with China Airlines this morning, simulating CI641 as of today. 450 Nm (more or less) great for a first approach to P3D V4.
  8. Haaa, thanks for that ! I did not know. Since ORBX said they had to change some stuff, I just figured I should wait. Thanks for the heads up ;)
  9. I too am amazed by P3D performance. I just departed Hong Kong on the PMDG 747 with almost every slider to the right, ORBX FTX Global, AS16 (many clouds in HK at the moment), and I have installed both Fly Tampa Kai Tak and T2G VHHH ... and just woah !!! And of course I am heading to Flytampa Dubai ... First, P3D v3 and previous would have an OOM just THINKING about loading all that stuff together. So the fact of beeing able to load all this is incredible in itself. Second, the performance is insane always running at 40+ fps ... it is so smooth !!!! It feels much better all the time. In the end ? What is see is I have better framerates, a beautiful P3D and I don't have to hold my settings. I can't be more happy with that. I can't wait for the port of other addons, but I am already convinced we are switching to a new era of simming. Considering the amount of inventivity some developers have already put in the previous versions of the sim to circumnavigate around the sim limitations, I am really eager to see what the will be able to do in the future with this platform, keeping in mind 64 bits is not only about more memory. . The thing I am really waiting for now is FTX Global Vector.
  10. Just got it ! I was downloading my previous LEBL installer when I saw it appearing ... tell me about live :P
  11. Difference is, filling 16 Exabytes is gonna take a while.
  12. Hello Keven, I am happy to report the problem seems to be solved on my side also.
  13. So to add further information, this also happens with my HOTAS Warthog coolie hat. I reinstalled all the hardware from scratch and it sill does happen.
  14. Yes we have to be patient, even Keven needs to sleep :) I am very confident the issue will be resolved, we just have to be patient. Remember this is an Alpha Experimental software.
  15. Same problem here. I am running 0.1.717 and still have the problem, although it is intermittent. I could not pinpoint exactly what triggers the crazyness. Sometimes it hust hangs, then next time I press the Hat it just goes crazy. Sometimes I can counter balance it by pressing the opposite way, but it does not always work. It feels like the buttons are working "intermittent". For example, it detects the button for say 5 secondes. If I press and release during that time no problem. If the "button detection" stops while I am pressing, then it feels like I am keeping pressure on the hat while in reality I released the button. Sometimes I press and nothing happens. I hope this helps you Keven, feel free to come back to me if you need more specifics (hardware, rig etc ...)
  16. Hello ! Here are my two cents : I own an Acer Predator X34A (3440x1440 and 100Hz G-SYNC). In addition, I use two 24" FullHD displays which I use for the various utilities and maps while flying, so my 34" display is concentrated on only displaying my P3D. The immersion is fantastic, although due to the overall not so good framerates of P3D (meaning, not reaching the 100 fps needed for GSYNC most of the time), the true blow comes when I play Civ6 or any other STR. Be carefull though, because you gotta have a good graphic cards for all those displays though. I own a GTX1080 and the two other displays are on a 1060. A bit overkill, but I'm fine with that for the future. The 100 Hz GSYNC comes with a price, and to be honest, I think the Predator X34A is overpriced (I paid 1100 euros for it). The overall feeling is awesome. One of the secondary display is below the 34", so depending on the aircraft I put down the PFD,ND and FMC, and the upper screen is dedicated only for the outside view. Here's a link of how P3D looks in the VC of the PMDG 744, unedited so you can look closely at all the details if you wish. https://www.dropbox.com/s/eo9zezyv1gmbpcf/2017-03-27 20_23_18-Greenshot.png?dl=0 I hope this helps.
  17. Glad you sorted it out then. Sometimes the most obvious is not that obvious :)
  18. Hello ! Actually if you look carefully in the "door" section of the FMC you will notice that there are several pages. You need to go beyond by pressing the previous and next pages key of the fmc. There you will find all the doors depending on which specific variant you are flying. I hope this helps !
