  1. You gotta give it to them tho, despite the moutains of sh**t they get at every updates, they'r still here talking to us and keeping us posted.
  2. If all goes as planned there should be first the straight floats, then an update for the amphib, then tundra wheels, then skis, and possibly a Turbine version 😄
  3. Well sh**t happens. Im used to it 🙂 and thanks but wait for the final result before calling me talented 😄
  4. So the sim have to draw your scenery, PLUS the upgraded Asobo's one? Could be why @Steve Drahad bad frames. And yea, its a shame that all landmarks are regrouped in one BGL, we cant pick the ones we want (or dont want).
  5. So flying P3D, you would still praise how good FS9 looked? No, you'd say, geez, p3D looks a millions times better than FS9.And you'd be right.
  6. Its progressing a lot faster than i thought (Thanks COVID for destroying my job :D). But the hardest part is yet to come, the VC and cockpit coding.....So i dont know, i dont expect to take it a year, but a few months that for sure.
  7. Exactly my thought. Wich is why im starting with the straight float version 🙂
  8. Oh yea, of course its gonna be transparent 😄 im just switching beetween 3D modeling, and in sim editing, to not get bored of one specific thing. And the contact points is basically telling the sim where are your float, where does it interact with water, ground, what kind of interaction it is, is there damage, is there structure stress etc...
  9. Didnt quit, its on the side for now 🙂 its gonna be real some day 🙂
  10. Editing the flight model is going perfectly well.......LOL. At least i got PBR to finally work, but not so much the contact points calculation 😄
  11. P3D guys love to do that dont they 😄
  12. "But its only the visuals, everything else is better in P3D bla bla bla bla bla blaaaaaaaaaa...." Great screenshots 🙂
  13. But it works for me so it must be you? How can you insult someone in every post you make and still be here?
  14. I think its because its part of a premium version that a lot of people dont have.
  15. Ive been folowing your stories on it, trust me, i know what the problem is. When i said fragile, i meant its usually the matter of many complaints after patches. So whatever they do, its nearly always affecting the AP in some way, shape or form. So having a back up one, open source, and fixable in a day or two instead of a month, i say yes.
  16. I know the problems with the defaults AP, wich is why a custom open source AP could be interesting, as it would not be as fragile as the Asobos one. Or even if it is, we would not have to wait forever to get a fix 🙂 the ideal solution would obviously be that Asobo stop breaking stuff, but, i doubt its gonna happen.
  17. They'r just not really willing to learn a new way of develloping and coding.
  18. Dont talk about human rights, we know you'r a robot.
  19. Of course, the Jab never had the pretention to be complex. But im just saying that it is definetely possible to push it to the next level, right now, with the SDK 0.8. FBW are making their own custom AP aparently, so.
  20. Amazing! No rant about the broken SDK in the FBW homes :). The mod code is already open source isnit? (assumption solely based on the fact that its hosted by github)
  21. I guess it depends what you'r trying to achieve. But i always found the "broken SDK" excuse a little bit too easy. 🙂
  22. The Jabiru look simple, but its not quite as simple as we might think. There are nice lines of codes in there. From the custom Tablet to the custom XPDR. 🙂
