    Today I purchased MISTY EAGLE GAMING - ULTIMATE WEATHER PRESETS PACK MSFS and when you load the "UWP Dark Scary Sky with Thunder" preset you will see all the sheet lightning and forked lightning that you want. Purchased from the Simmarket. 😉

    Yes I really hope they are working on DX12 and FG. I have just installed a MSI 4090 and it has CTD several times. Works OK in DX11 smooth with no problems.

    Sorry Terry, the problem seems to have rectified itself. A computer reboot and a 2 hour flight, and no 60 second pauses (touch wood). More testing tomorrow.

    Hi Jack Glad you got your 60 second pause fixed 🙂 When you decided to go with the Store version, I guess you would have to re-install MSFS ? Did your community folder work with the new install, or did you have to reinstall aircraft, scenery, etc etc Reason I am asking is because I too have the 60 second pause same as you 😒

    Wouldn't be better to find the actual cause of his issues, its his choice and beside he might be the person who likes these type of challenges, and I for one would love to know what the issue is most likely something simple 🙂 Well he states that he would pay good money to have it fixed, so again I rest my case..... I would hand it over to a compentent computer technitian.

    I'm guessing he does not know how to uninstall/reinstall Windows and/or MSFS. If it was me, I would either hand it over to a compentent computer technitian, or purchase a new computer. The frustration is just now worth it. Life is too short.

    Try the float test....drop your PC into a full bath. If it doesn't float you need a new PC.
