I use FTSim+'s WWise sounds for several of my MSFS aircraft. FT just started developing a new package for AIG traffic, named "AiTRSP". Thought some of you might find it interesting. As far as I can tell he's only included the A320 CFM so far, with plans to replace 40+ AIG engines with WWise. A screenshot from his site is worth a 1000 words. I think I might wait until a few more engines are included before using it, but if I find myself bored with free time who knows. I'll definitely use it eventually. His c208 sounds and KingAir sounds in particular are very good, and all in WWise. Access to his work is like $2 on patreon I think, and you can cancel after the first month has concluded. Video link from that screenshot, I use his C208, KingAir, A320 LEAP, 747 PW 4000, 787 Rolls Royce Trent 1000, CRJ GE CF34, sounds.

Study Level Default Aircraft
Waldo Pepper replied to Krakin's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
There are some heavy hitting mods too. Asobo provided the state of the art visuals, for the rest there is FBW's A320, Heavy Division's 787, Salty's 747, JPL's 152, Rob Young's Bonanza, Touching Cloud's F-18, etc. You can pay more to get more depth, but for no money out of pocket a lot of casual simmers can dip a toe into the more serious end of the pool. I'm guessing that MSFS has sparked more interest than ever. -
Study Level Default Aircraft

Just as a point of order, Asobo has already stated that Working Title's Nxi will completely replace the default G1000 in the sim as soon as the Nxi's development is finalized. 3rd parties like PMS and others have recently been given access to WTT mode. This allows (for example) the PMS GTN 750 to use Working Title Technology (WTT) derived from the Nxi package to manage the autopilot and the flight plan, instead of relying on the somewhat lacking Asobo code. -
Do you still buy payware sceneries-airports

I like smaller airports like FSDT's Key West. Most 3rd party major airports are just fps hogs. -
All new Ground Services.

LVFR's business model makes me want to bang my head on a desk. First I bought AREX North America from the marketplace. Then I discovered that the marketplace version doesn't have the configuration menu to select different companies. So I bought NA again, direct from LVFR. Then I buy two more regions of AREX. A month later, LVFR offers AREX global. So I guess the message to me is don't buy LVFR products at release. -
New Piper Cub in the Market Place

G36 Bonanza Interiors
Waldo Pepper replied to Waldo Pepper's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I'm a fan of non-fictional liveries. Found a new non-fictional Beechcraft factory G36 livery today, the Jaguar Special Edition. Available in 3 colors. Didn't think I'd like the interior color scheme, but found it to be rather nice in the sim. Figured I might as well drop it in this old thread with the 60th and 75th anniversary liveries. https://flightsim.to/file/29192/bonanza-jaguar The Jaguar Edition was also available on the King Air. https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2000/january/pilot/jaguar-special-edition-b36tc-bonanza -
He is. And I'm fairly certain that his line of work involves marine conservation efforts, which is cool and somewhat related to his hobby. I've spent 3+ decades working at a sea port, so ships fill out a big part of the environment for me. He and his team are doing great work, I've actually worked some of the real vessels that are in his mod. Anyway, might as well check out some of his screenshots while we wait. Here's a personal photo - easter egg for Henrik.

Assistance with AIG operation

You can check an airport's departure and arrival schedule in the manager, by searching for the ICAO. The scheduled arrivals and departures will vary by time and date. -
EDIT: For some reason the SouthOakco link downloads KML files for Central USA. EDIT Again: There is a link in the SimMarket product description which does download the West USA KML. https://secure.simmarket.com/south-oak-co-fs-birds-west-usa.phtml https://www.southoakco.com/fs-birds/west-usa

Just got home from work, I'll give it a shot in a few. EDIT: Did you notice that he posted a new version today? It fixes the windsock, which was pointing in the opposite direction than the wind.

That's a nice little strip. Really like that Mooney skin too. "one nautical mile (2 km) northeast of the central business district of East Moriches, in Suffolk County, New York, United States."
