I tried to find the 7 files that you talked about but could only find one, labeled Photogrammetry 3D Cities. Deleting that got me 2fps. But turning off Photogrammetry all together got me to 34-37 fps in the FBW sitting on the runway at KJFK. Other settings were 2560x1440, Terrain LOD@300, everything at Ultra. I wonder why I can't find the 7 files you showed? I have the Premium Deluxe with all the World Updates installed. One thing I do need to do is go back and retest with the one file I deleted and PG On. I didn't restart the sim after deleting the file before testing. Additional info Just had the AI Pilot do a KJFK to KBOS in the Asobo A320. FPS was at 30 just as he rotated. FPS went up to high 40's and stayed there until dropping as the aircraft got below 500 feet on approach into KBOS. Was at 31 on touchdown and then dropped to around 24 on taxi. This is with PG ON @TravelRunner404, are you running the new Beta? I am and I wonder if they have fixed the Cities bug, if you are not.

May have found something, Win11 Dev version downloaded a driver for my 6800XT a day or so ago. I found it wasn't playing nice with the AMD Adrenelin software. I changed back to the latest AMD driver and got the FPS at JFK back to what I had with the 5800x @ 4200 but the 5800x3d is only @ 3600. I am tired of fooling with it for tonight and will try again tomorrow with the newer chip at 4200.

Bios is the latest and shows 5800x3d support. I updated the chipset drivers just to make sure. I will go try KORD just to see.

I did update the bios but had grabbed it the 1st of the week, not after the Wednesday release of the cpu. I am going to go back and check again to make sure as Asus is usually quick to update as needed. I will check on chipset drivers while I am there. I just got back home so will get back to it. Win11 also had an update yesterday and if I don't find any answers with the bios and chipset drivers I will try rolling that back and check again.

FBW Exp at JFK, 2560x1440 + 100 Render/300 LOD Ultra everthing else w/ 5800x3d cpu 18.7 w/ MainThread Limited. That is at 4200mhz, the same as I had the 5800x at. Ram and GPU settings are the same. That is a 3fps LOSS and is somewhat disheartening, to say the least. I have to stop playing around right now and am going to give some thought to just putting the 5800x3d on Ebay instead of my old cpu.

FBW Exp at JFK, 2560x1440 + 100 Render/300 LOD Ultra everthing else gets current cpu 21.6 w/ MainThread Limited. I don't have AIG and Traffic setting are at default 50%. There is your Baseline. There is a chance that it will be delivered today as it arrived at the UPS facility at 4AM this mornig but does not show out for delivery as of yet 2.5 hours later.

On the Ground or in the Air??

Ordered a 5800 x3D today for my birthday present from me to me. I hope to see the 40%+ from my current 5800x, but we will see. But it should go nice with my 6800XT anyway.

450.00 is not bad, and my birthday is April 20. I figure my 5800x would bring 300.00 or so on Ebay so I may have to think about this 😉

And with that it is now fixed again, without reinstalling anything. Everything back to where it was. Thank you AS/MS. I really didn't want to spend my afternoon doing a reinstall of Win11 and MSFS.

I had to know and I figured that you had to Click on Update, but I was wrong. It updated automatically and screwed up MSFS. I know it's my own fault and am not complaining. I have been looking for an excuse to reinstall Win11 and get off of the Development Build cycle anyway, as every time I get a new Win11 build I have to uninstall and reinstall my printer/scanner. And it's been years since I did a clean o/s install.

I remember playing around with a piece of software not long after the release of MSFS that did what you want to a pad but cannot remember the name. It was labeled as a "desktop extender" IIRC. Might try searching for that.

Not so much if you uninstall the drivers before the swap. Windows then installs generic drivers which you then update later.

My Win11 version still uses the Key from an OEM Win7 that came to me free for being part of the Beta test for Win7.

My Windows install is years old, through many motherboard, cpu, hdd's and ssd's and video cards. Add on the various Win10 and now Win11 Dev versions and it works just fine. Windows has gotten a lot smarter about such things over the years.

You have always been able to just re-activate Windows and install new drivers. No need to reinstall Windows.

Maybe the M$ guy who was in charge of switching the Official Forums over to reflect the SU Beta first checked in here and you all convinced him that it was just an April Fools thing. They can't release the test until the forums are ready for all the whinging, can they?

I noticed in the Marketplace, right next to the new WU, a Perfect Flight CJ4. Is that new? False Alarn It was Private Flights and is just a Mission Pack. I misread it while clicking on the WU

Have they fixed that addon to play well with SU8 yet?
