Took it for my first spin From KPOE to KPDX. Everything works fine with my Alpha/Bravo setup EXCEPT the Altitude button. It all looks like it should work according to the settings in Options and all the others (VS, Hdg, etc) work like usual. Weird The G3000 is different enough I can see I am going to have to go back to Fabio's vid and pay way more attention to things.

I just had this happen to me when I tried to open MSFS to check if the H-Jet was in the MP yet. Repair didn't help but clicking on Reset did the trick and MSFS is opening again. And no, the H-Jet isn't there yet.

I wonder if we can fill the front page of this forum with threads about the H-jet today?

It has now been 16 days and we still Do NOT have a Songbird paint. What is with that?

This brings up a question, I am the only User on my PC and am the Admin also, the same User. I have always wondered if "Run as Administrator" in fact does anything different. I just did a flight with it clicked and couldn't tell any difference but my flights are always smooth anyway, so it is hard to tell.

One thing that this thread has going for it is this, it is NOT about either the 737 of the Fenix. 😉

I don't usually worry about fps as long as it is smooth, usually. I did want to check how things are now after enabling Super Res with my 6800XT/5800X3D combo. MSFS is set to 1920x1080 but AMD SR upscales that to 2560x1440, running all Ultra. Did a flight from the Southern coast of England up to Heathrow with fps in the 60's and it dropped to 34 on the ground at Heathrow. FPS test is now done and Dev Mode turned OFF. I will no longer worry about FPS.

I just came inside from doing some honey-do's while MSFS was installing again. I clicked on the icon and got this same error. I am in Kansas. If I click where it says "Connect to a network" it says I am connected already. word not allowed

Never mind. I had logged out of the xBox app numerous times, restarted my pc twice and nothing had helped, so I posted the above. After posting, I tried it all again and fo some reason it is now working, I hope. I guess I wasn't holding my mouth right of something. But no joke I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get it to install.

I got up this morning and after my normal cruise through my websites I decided to take a flight in MSFS. I clicked on the icon and NOTHING, no error message, nothing showed up in Task Manager, just nothing happened. I then checked on all the xBox servers and they showed all up and running and nobody was complaining this morning about not being able to fly so I figure it has to be on my end. I decided to do a trick where you rename the game folder, click uninstall in the xBox app, restore the game folder to original name and the click install again. This is how I used to have to do all the updates when I first started using Win11. But low and behold the xBox app install now wants to install to C:/Xbox Apps instead of the former C:/ Users/AppData/,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that it used to be installed in. After failing to find a way to change the path to the original I gave up and said go ahead and install to C:/Xbox Apps folder (I have gigabit internet so no big worries). The only probelem is the install process now will not work and it just stays on "0 of 123GB" and will NOT download any of the files. I have never had this happen before and am stuck on what to do. Any suggestions?

Well, I for one, am not buying the 310 until there is a Songbird livery to use on it.

Seeing all the positive results that you guys have had with the new chip I am now glad that the buyer on Ebay has not as of yet PAID for my 5800X3D that I listed. This time tomorrow I can cancel the auction and give it another try. I am now convinced that my test results were being compromised by the PG bug introduced with SU9. Hopefully I get to test that theory tomorrow.

I can see the forums now. People ****ing and moaning about how theeir installation is now longer working with the various streaming stuff and when asked then they have to admit that they are 2-5 versions behind the servers. But it will still be Asobo/MS fault.

Thanks, I found it now. Just deleting the files and without restarting it took my fps in the A320 at JFK to 29 setting at the end of the runway. It was 21 with my 5800x. I now wish I could have tested this with the 5800x3d but that is already listed on Ebay with bids on it.

MIchael, it sounds like you are seeing the same thing I am regarding this so called "fix". Do the search like he says but only see the World Updates in the results, not the PG Cities that his pic shows. He brought this up in another thread and I asked about why I wasn't seeing those files, but I never got an answer. Maybe you will have better luck.

I think my experiment with the 5800x3d is over. I did not see any measurable gains over my 5800x and to get back to same performance the 5800x3d has to be run at speeds and voltage that are taxing my Corsair AIO cooler. I could keep it but that would cause a 200.00 or so cost after selling the older cpu. Or I can sell the newer chip and probably make 100.00 to 200.00 due to the scarcity of the chips ATM. I had high hopes when I ordered the chip but I just don't see me keeping it.
