Mykonos Airport is our team's first project! It has been already released by Aerosoft from April 28, 2014 and has been update to v1.01 at October 27, 2014. Also is available to Steam users from November 24, 2014. Introduction Mykonos Airport is sited in the island of Mykonos, an island in the middle of Aegean Sea. One of the most historic places on earth from mythology up to today. Most known today for the summer wild night life, is a must destination for world's biggest celebrities! Combining luxury with a cozy village-like feeling, beaches for any kind of taste, classic Aegean Sea style white/blue houses to ultra-luxurious villas, is one of the top destinations in the world. The airport has a single 2,000 meter long runway (16/34) which is significant curved on the approach end of runway 34. So curved that aircrafts on that end are almost not visible from the tower! But this makes it quite challenging to land since the touchdown point is in an uphill, making hard to judge the distance from the ground! Talking about challenges, Mykonos Airport has a full hand of them for you! Departing from runway 16 is also challenging since the aircraft, due the curved runway, is getting out of ground effect as soon as you lift off and in less than from the altitude of the airport (405 feet) you are above the sea. Runway 16 approaches are allowed only under VFR since there is a hill range in sort distance in the final approach path. Than means also that departing runway 34 you have to turn immediately to the left to avoid them! Not enough for you? Mykonos island's nickname is the "Island of the winds", which means that is common to have also strong winds added to the challenge. Also a hill just east of the airport create, depending the wind direction, updrafts or downdrafts! The Scenery Mykonos Airport scenery package includes the whole island of Mykonos (a 140 km2 area) covered with high definition orthophotos. The island is full of 3D houses and trees (although trees are sparse in Mykonos). Classical windmills turning slowly, while the green waters around the beaches are mixed with the deep blue ones. Special care has taken to the night lighting. With the HDR lighting possibility of X-Plane we have designed the night lighting to be realistic and efficient! Availability - Support Mykonos Airport is release under Aerosoft brand and it is available from Aerosoft's store. Also is available through the most major vendors around the world. The support of that product includes free updates for the whole X-Plane 10 run. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

This idea, combined with the knowledge of the experts at HSA, found the best way to materialize. Serifos (Aegean Sea),Elafonisos (Ionian Sea),Atokos (Ionian Sea),Ericousa (Ionian Sea),Samothraki (South Aegean Sea),Psara (Aegean Sea),Fournoi (Aegean Sea-Ikaria) have been designed in such a way, that each of these sceneries carries the locality and ambience of each area. We were not confined in just a small part of the area, like usually done in other seaplane sceneries worldwide, but we wanted to attribute just a little bit more in each area. View Video
MorsAbAlto posted a topic in PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)So as the cold autumn weather sets in around here, I thought about doing some island hopping around the many small islands of Greece in the JS41. I was looking to add more realism to the adventure by flying in the livery of a real world operator, but alas was unable to find one. Could one of you please point me in the direction for a livery of Sky Express (ICAO: SEH) or at least a greek operator? If one of our talented repainters would decide to make such a livery, that would be most appreciated, too. Thank you in advance for any help Regards
