Hello, After trying the tweaks posted by Word Not Allowed and the automated tweaking tool from Bojote, my FSX performs pretty well EXCEPT in cities where I have Aerosoft US Cities X installed which are San Francisco and Manhattan. The FPS range at about 6-9 FPS and there are stutters. I don't think my system can't handle it. I know the RADEON HD 6970 is not the best for FSX but I'm trying to figure out what else I can do to to make the sim run smoother in those areas. Any advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. My specs are listed on my profile.

Hi to everyone, It's my first post here because you guys solved me the other problem that I had, so, for that, a big thank you. But now I've encountered a problem that no one seems to have, and I'm recurring to you for help. I'm running P3D Pro Plus v3.3.5, on my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 7559. I know that Desktop PCs are better, but I'm also a University Student and I needed a laptop, so I decided to buy one to play P3D on medium settings. My specs are: i7-6800HQ - 2.6 - 3.2 Ghz GTX960M - 4GB DDR5 16GB RAM P3D on a SSD 4K monitor (15.6'') The thing is, if I run it fullscreen (either completely fullscreen or "windowed fullscreen") I get around 20-25 FPS on the Aerosoft Airbus, in a payware scenery (e.g. JustSim Linz), with broken clouds and REX4; at 4K resolution. But, if I go into windowed mode and shrink the window about 20%, I get like 30-40 FPS. I thought that it was the result of the "lower resolution" that now I was having on my screen, so I decided to change it to 1920x1080 to prove my point. I did that but nothing changed, the figures were the same. I even plugged an external 1080p TV to see if maybe the downscaling was causing this issue, but to no avail. Exactly the same as above. I'm really confused. If someone need some screenshots or files to see what may be wrong, just ask, I'll be in the library with my PC studying Thanks in advance, and a special thanks to the admins of AVSIM for keeping this FS knowledge database alive. Something fundamental that I don't understand... At a gate, KSFO, clear weather, aircraft in turnaround config. FPS limited in Nvidia CP to 60, VSync on. GPU Usage approx 45%, CPU Usage approx 60%, GPU memory usage approx 50%, system memory approx 40%. All temps at around 50c and no CPU cores maxed out. Network activity 0%. GPU at approx 60% power consumption. Why then am I only seeing 21fps when no component of the system is working at more than about half of its capacity? As soon as I get airborne, my FPS return straight back to 60 or higher if I deregulate them. It demonstrates that my system can produce far higher performance but something is preventing it on the ground. It has to be something in the core of MSFS, surely? Under the same circumstances, if I change to an outside view, and pan around, the FPS are still glued to 21 and don't fluctuate regardless of scenery rendering, or for that matter, changing my settings. I currently have most things on ultra and lowering some of the more influential ones doesn't increase performance. This further suggests to me that the program is limiting FPS, not the capacity of the hardware. Can anyone give any insight into this? Cheers! 🙂

Somebody who can help me with the performance in the PHENOM 100 hi, I try to follow the performance documentation that comes with the phenom but its impossible that setting the N1 that comes in the chards I reach the correct Speed. Do you follow these chards? why is fuel calculation of the Phenom 100 always negative? waht are the best numbers of N1 to cruise at the normal cruise speed?
