Oh my, I was not expecting this to occur so soon. On the other hand, having taken care of my late brother as he slowly died from hepatic (liver) cancer, I am profoundly aware of just how painful and horrible such conditions truly are.

In pace requiescat et in amore, my friend. Amen.

Condolences to Tom's family, and my prayers to him.

Death, as we perceive it,  is just a state of existence, which certainly doesn't put an end to what anyone is or, like we usually put it, was, even less when that someone has given so many the joy and the great moments we're all able to share here at AVSIM everyday, for many years.

I also didn't expect this so soon; R.I.P. Tom. Thanks for ALL the hard work you've put in to AVSIM and the warm welcome you gave me on my registration day.

Too soon and I had thought that he would - somehow - win this fight.

Rest In Peace, Tom.

Since several of my posts are not available anymore on AVSIM (hidden/deleted - I am talking about moderating actions in the general forum sections, not about the PMDG forum), I am not available here anymore, either. Sorry ...

RIP.  Considering all the forums I've participated in, or at least read, this is longest lasting, and a highly favored one.

Thank you Tom for all you have done for this community.

My father passed away on Easter weekend three years ago and I have found it to be a sense of comfort.

May God bless you and your loved ones.
