Oh my, I was not expecting this to occur so soon. On the other hand, having taken care of my late brother as he slowly died from hepatic (liver) cancer, I am profoundly aware of just how painful and horrible such conditions truly are.

Death, as we perceive it,  is just a state of existence, which certainly doesn't put an end to what anyone is or, like we usually put it, was, even less when that someone has given so many the joy and the great moments we're all able to share here at AVSIM everyday, for many years.  

Rest in peace Tom and thanks for everything.

I also didn't expect this so soon; R.I.P. Tom. Thanks for ALL the hard work you've put in to AVSIM and the warm welcome you gave me on my registration day.

Too soon and I had thought that he would - somehow - win this fight.
