October 1, 200421 yr Commercial Member Captains-Here is a little reward for being around the forum.... You'll be the first to know..... Washington, D.C. 01OCT04PMDG Announces the Addition of Grabowski, Frantzeskakis and MD-11 to Award Winning LineupPrecision Manuals Development Group is preparing to launch it's seventh year in business in grand style with the addition of two highly accomplished Flight Simulator Developers and at least one significant new product for 2005! Effective this week, PMDG announces the addition of award winning Flight Simulation developers Bill Grabowski and Michael Frantzeskakis to the PMDG Development Team.Known to flight simulation enthusiasts for his many panel projects, Bill Grabowski is practically a household name and has won nearly every award offered to flight simulation developers. Michael Frantzeskakis is the author of ServInfo, one of the most widely used applications in online simming."The addition of these two developers comes at a great time in PMDG's history," says PMDG Founder and Executive Director, Captain Robert S. Randazzo. "We have been looking for some time to add accomplished programming and development talent in order to reduce workload and development timelines in our highly sophisticated aircraft simulation products. Bill and Michael bring exactly the right mix of experience in the simulation community, aeronautical knowledge, and developmental innovation. Combined all of this with the highly accomplished skill set already in place at PMDG, and we can expect to see even more great simulation products in the years to come."In addition to PMDG's upcoming "PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies," PMDG today announced that Bill and Michael's existing MD-11 project will be released in late spring of 2005 as a full PMDG product. "One of many great advantages to having Bill and Michael on the PMDG team is what it means for the MD-11," said Captain Randazzo. "Adding the well known capabilities of our development team to the MD-11 project launched by Bill and Michael will greatly enhance the completeness of an already outstanding airliner project. The MD-11 will feature all of the enhancements and benefits PMDG customers have grown accustomed to in terms of the simulation experience, and at the heart of it, Bill and Michael will continue to bring their existing innovation right to the forefront of development technology."PMDG started business in late 1997 and has since grown to a team of eleven developers in five countries. PMDG shifted focus from FLY! To Microsoft Flight Simulator in 2003 and has won 8 major awards for innovation and quality in flight simulation development during the past year alone. PMDG's current MSFS products include the popular PMDG 737-600/700 THE NEXT GENERATION and PMDG 737-800/900 series aircraft. Additionally, PMDG has released the PMDG EXPRESS B1900D for simmers interested in smaller aircraft simulation.PMDG and information about the upcoming PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies product can be found at http://www.precisionmanuals.com Robert S.
