Virtual Cabin

Featured Replies

Virtual Cabin is nice to show the wife and kids once in a while but it eats frames and I am sure you can't make one in 2 hours, so two words: NO NEED!!!

So, in other words, you want the 767-200? :)

A waste of time, do really believe that. I dont think PMDG or Fligt1 included a virtual cabin for no good reason. If it destroys your fps, then upgrade your computer, because the virtual cabin in the ATR and 737 dont do anything to my fps.OHN

Well stick with PMDG then. Your loss tho if you ask me. No i'm not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

We did a virtual cabin in the ATR because ATR wanted one, otherwise, we'd rather spend the resources in more important areas. We're not even planning virtual cabins for the new line of 737s we are planning, just wing views as with our 727.Oh sure, on much smaller aircraft it's not as big a deal, but on larger airliners, I would not expect to see many of them as they just bog things down.I think LDS has their priorities straight in this regard. It's a simulator for pilots, not passengers, and the wing views will serve well for those who need to sit in the back while they should be up front. ;-)Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg

I'll second that. Why do some people think that if an aircraft is payware, it must have a cabin? I for one, find these cabins a total waste of time for developers and total waste of fps for the end user.LDS 767 probably will be the first payware I'll buy and I am glad that it won't even have the option for a cabin. My two cents...

>But i guess this plane is then only for the 1% hardcore>simmers then, why not leave out the model too, you hardcore>simmers only need to have the panel. If you mean with the word model the 'livery' and then I agree with you. Just the 2D-panel will do for me! Remember, a real pilot has no spot plane view either... :-)On top of that I would opt for home cockpit building support...Nicowww.nicokaan.nlfc.php?vatsim=814584&indicator=OD1&a=pic767.jpg

Lou hit the nail on the head with this one. Ditto. This simulator is for pilots :).Tero

You know why there are no "Home-cabin building" support forums?:-lol

I spend enough time in back of the real thing. I don't even use the wing views on the DF 727, but I do sneak outside to take a look at that beauty once in a while :-) I'm sure I'll do the same with the LDS 763!!!Scott

Still Telling Pilots Where To Go!!

OHN then I will update my high-end system AMD64 3400+ 1 mb cache system and 1 Gb memory.... :-lol:-lol:-lol:-lol:-lol:-lolBelieve me it will cost FPS (due to the extra polygons added to the model) and I still think it's waste of development time...This LVL-D 767 with awesome systems will end up for sure in my hangar without a doubt and a virtual cabin :-hah ...Just have fun...Ps... The Flight1 ATR and PMDG are both also awesome without virtual cabin :-blaAndr
