  2. Thanks Bryan!!! Scott
  3. Please tell me you got rid of all the coughing before I buy the new voices. :-) Scott
  4. I have been running this for quite some time now. If you need help with any testing, just let me know (Skyymann). Scott
  5. I have a pic of me from a couple of years ago sitting in the captains seat on a UAL 744 on the ground in Frankfurt. It helped that I am ATC with lots of ID. Very cool crew! Scott
  6. I love this stuff. Please don't lock this thread  Scott
  7. Is there any way to kill all that throat clearing. Its really annoying! Scott
  8. A second American voice set would be nice as well. Perhaps with a bit less throat clearing :-) Scott
  9. Problem solved. It was a game controller configuration issue in Windows. All good now. Man, that was a pain! Thanks Bryan! Scott
  10. If you saw my set up, you'd see the keyboard is not really an option for inflight :-) Scott
  11. Well Bryan, I give up. I can not get this to work. I've tried everything I can think of and tried to clear all assignments via CH and FSUIPC. Be happy to take any kind of walk through you can think of. I've truly never had this much trouble with anything FS..... Scott CH Manaager and FSUIPC also disagree on the button numbers. Strange Scott
  12. No I have not. I'll give that a try. Scott
  13. I know this is covered in the manual, but I just can't seem to get this to work. I finally moved from FS9 to FSX and absolutely can not get the buttons to work on my CH Yoke. I tried doing what the manual said, but obviously, I'm missing something. PLEASE HELP!!! Scott
  14. This is happening to me also. Scott
  15. I've been a controller for almost 20 years and I do not sit around waiting for pilots to ask for lower. Scott
  16. I may be a little biased, but I highly recommend Radar Contact :-)Scott

I failed to make a back up. Could someone post the original 747 and 74f light setup from the config file so I can put my airplanes back to normal? :-) BTW this is for FS9.Scott
  18. I thought I remembered seeing the airplane at LAX a few years ago with RR engines. I had just gotten off a flight from Auckland so I was pretty tired :-)Scott
  19. Not complaining, but I thought that airplane was a -400 with winglets and RR engines. Scott
  20. To add to what Pete said, sometimes in the States (I know I used to do it at Denver Center) we would assign rates of climb to assure clearance from potential traffic. This was always done with the pilots concurrence. An example would be "UAL886, climb and maintain FL330. Maintain at least 1500 FPM through FL 310 for traffic. If unable advise". I don't think it's in the book, but it works. Especially if the pilot really wants higher! :-)Scott
  21. Time for my official silly question. Why Euros??? Business wise I understand. I wish I was paid in Euros....Scott
  22. Hi Subs,as our resident TRACON controller (Doug is a Center guy :-)) I can confirm 250K relief is available in US airspace. If a heavy jet needs it, they get it. And yes, it is always available in Houston. Don't know about LA, but I'll check with a few friends at Socal TRACON and get back to ya.Scott
  23. TIPH is not banned, but it is very cumbersom now. As a rule, I don't use it any more. Another knee jerk reaction by the FAA to a localized problem. This too shall pass.....Scott
  24. You may also want to lower the Cost Index to around 50% or less.Scott

I'm with Ryan here. Been on a lot of 737s and I don't want to see much wing flex. THat would be bad :-)Scott
