I would like to be able to choose certain environment textures and not have them changed each time I load up AS6 but have other themes like clouds change according to the weather. Is this what you understood from my post above or if not, is this possible?Cheers,James
January 3, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi James,You'll want to create a new theme... First choose the items you want fixed (i.e. your desired environment textures, sky color, etc.) and leave the ones you want wx-influenced alone. Then save the theme. Then edit the .thm file (located in ASGraphicsThemes) and change any entry you want Wx-Influenced to "WX". Save the file...Now you can select such theme for auto-submit.Hope that makes sense? Let me know if you have other questions...Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

Thats now fixed my problem and I can have my theme load automatically the way I want it everytime I load AS6 now. But with one problem now fixed, another arises :(, but one that seems to be also affecting a lot of people I know who use AS6. When I load up on the ground to start my flight, immediatly my framerates drop very low for a period of about 5 seconds as the weather loads. This has also happened while in-flight and wierdly enough, below the suppresion altitude I set in the options panel of AS6. Is this normal?Cheers,James
January 3, 200620 yr They are confused, but in order to use ASG to second of the conditions weather as I must make? 1) use this option "SKY THEME: WX Influenced" and 3D clouds, Cirrus clouds, Sky color and Enviroment CUSTOM or 2) use this option " SKY THEME: CUSTOM " and all the rest with "Wx-influenced" Which are right of the two options of ASG for having the possible more real weather diagram? thanks.

January 3, 200620 yr Hi Jim,Thanks for your great settings list. To make things more 'reader friendly' I would appreciate a screenshot of the appropriate windows. This way one can quickly compare settings.Kind regards,Henk-Jan
January 3, 200620 yr Hi, could anyone help on the issue I described above in reply #62 regarding framerate loss when AS6 refreshes?Cheers,James
