Possible progress on Nvidia issues

Hey guys,The new beta drivers they've just released have the FS issues that have been discussed here and on Nzone listed as known now in the release notes. This means they're aware of them and hopefully will be fixing them in a later driver.

Do you know which specific nVidia card(s) the issues were confirmed on? And exactly what issue(s) did they confirm? Thanks, Robin.

They definitely have problems with the 7950 GX2.

I see various FSX problems mentioned in the release notes for the latest Vista 32bit beta drivers. Does that mean they will be fixed? What about XP?

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they'll be looking at fixing the XP drivers too then :)Vox

That's the big issue we all raised with nVidia a few weeks ago.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

Can you elaborate?Ryan,Thanks for the heads up. One step forward is a start in the right direction.

I started a thread over in nzone, and then a lot of avsimmers chimed in. I did suggest that, so I was only drinking my own koolaid :-).I sent no separate communications to nVidia on this one. This does validate the path thru nzone as a way to get nVidia's attention, even if it might take a bit.

Did find only Vista release notes and nothing about FS at all. Just want to look at them before installing.
