I don't think that will happen.I'm pretty sure that the PMDG team will be celebrating Christmas themselves with their family,so i expect it more at the end of the week(friday or saturday),when all the festivities are over.Regards

I'm betting Jan 2nd or 3rd, so doesn't look like we will be flying the MD-11 for Christmas, there is no news, no change to the website, so maybe next year. I figure they found a problem with it so, maybe in January some time.Michael P.

I think you guys simply have to read the initial post again. :( Currently, we are projecting a release that will definitely take place during 2008, and most likely take place before Christmas.

Come on now, PMDG does a great job keeping everyone up to date (for sim developer standards). I believe anything short of releasing the MD would be a disappointment for you so why bother with an update, I'm sure they want to release it as much as we want to get it. Jose

I think we should all just calm down a bit - this is a bit hypocritical I know, as I am as excited as you are...but..PMDG have worked long and hard on the MD-11 for over half a decade - (If I have got my info correct) and they deserve a Christmas break as much as we all do. :( So all in all, I think we should cut them some slack..... :(

Demanding updates or saying they wont keep up with their words is silly. PMDG gives out updates as they see fit. Go to other developer sites and let me know of their updates. Anyone post in LevelD's forum demanding updates on their projects? Of course not. PMDG staff are doing us a favor by giving us updates. I am very impatient too but complaining or throwing out accusations won't speed things up. Expecting them to take the time to reply to every post would in fact take away from the time put into the release. Patience people!ThanksRichie

I have waited for a very long time for this bird, so a few days or week won't make any difference, as I know it will be a fine product and well worth the wait. I would assume something wasn't up to their standards and rather than put out a half baked product before Christmas, they will put it out when it is ready and I am fine with that.Marry Christmas to the PMDG crew, go take a well deserved break and we will see you next year.Michael P.

Santa had the cockpit door removed, after all packages won't threaten him lol. I'm glad PMDG is trying to get it right the first time and that they are not rushing it. We should be glad that we even get status reports since most other developers do not give them. As long as we get it by year's end I'm happy. I'm still hoping for this week though :(
