which the date for the Released of the MD11 FS9, I think it would be before christmas but, not believe that is MD11 will be released before Christmas, or am I wrong?

Everybody knows that they will publish when all is ready to publish and not earlier. This is a important part of the success of PMDG products.

If so then why make release projections? if PMDG is going to say that release is expected at Christmas then they're creating expectations that it WILL be released at Christmas. I'm not against release projections, if they're constantly updated. If PMDG can't release the FS9 MD-11 at Christmas then they should tell us at the earliest opportunity, rather than saying nothing and creating false hope amongst customers. How long does it take to post a topic at the forums? 2 minutes?Also remember that many people here have already paid for it with the FSX/FS9 bundle, so they have an interest in seeing the finished product ASAP.

This is sad. Why don't the lot of you just relax and enjoy the holidays? Your constant whining about "busted release dates" and projection times is annoying for your fellow simmers, so can you imagine how the design crew feels? Would you rather wait a few more days and have a perfect release, or get it now and have it loaded with bugs? But don't answer that, instant gratification always wins out. Seriously though, chill, relax, have a Merry Christmas and see if you can't find it inside to let the PMDG guys have a happy holiday too.Chris

Hahahaha I love this thread, its turned into a bashing thread. Pmdg, close this immediately or something. and by the way Pmdg, take a few days off. These guys can wait 2-3 more days. You have done so much for us and have been great at it. So to everyone have a great holiday and be nice for a change because next year wont be as nice.

Captains-I thought I'd give you all a quick update on progress with the PMDG MD-11 for FS9, and the simultaneous FSX update.Currently, we are projecting a release that will definitely take place during 2008, and most likely take place before Christmas. At least- this is according to our current progress rate, and of course could change if we run into something unexpected during final testing!

Unless you have to work all the holidays and never get days off, why would you think they work them too? While I was going to ignore your obvious troll and not dignify it with a response, being ever the fool, I'll bite.Where exactly do I express my expectation or a demand for a release of the MD-11 at or before Christmas in my post, do show me please. Wait, I don't think I do. That's right. I don't. Because my post is not about the release, my post is about how the situation (and it is a situation considering the amount of people posting in this thread) is being handled, given a certain level of expectations that were created. Nothing more, nothing less.For the record, I will purchase the MD-11 and I couldn't care less if it comes out today, tomorrow, in a week's time or at the turn of the decade.

In light of the MSFS 9 Simulator should be evident tht FS9 has a lot of life in it and more popular than FSX still. Not everyone has the pc nor the cash flow to afford to upgrade but can make FS9 look good despite what those FSX nerds say. Those have tried it and learned their pc just unmistakenly absolutely cannot run brings a conclusion to mind tha Microsoft released this version 3 years too early and didnt complete the work on patching FS9's flaws wich are very few flaws none to be dissappointed over. You can only fit so much on a computer anyhow. So it is useless to promote FSX in a FS9 world. It simply doesnt sell well that way because time and cash are MAJOR factors. The economy in its state right now brings ppl to a slow down in spending. Trying to make a buck in a recession is so stupid and a waste of breathe. There is a time and place for everything. So freeware will be the place to go. Time to give the consumer a break.

Hi,I think your reply is pretty unfair to the guys who have held out patiently for this bird for days, weeks, months or even years.PMDG team said they would have it released by Christmas as far as I remember, so it's understandable that some folks are now really eager to fly it and therefore ask or demand for some news. No offence.
