Yes it will be released when it's released.I will play the middle man here. I agree with PMDG and don't give any release dates. PMDG doesn't OWE us anything so don't expect them to. But it would be nice to give an update every couple days to just let us know whats going on. I dont think they owe it to us but from what I have read on forums, when the devs give updates it tends to make everyone happier. As for the people that say crap like "I do not think it will be released this year but, may be in the month of April 2009 or later", just grow up. You are just trying to rise out of PMDG and other posters here. You haven't got a clue when it will be released so keep your opinion to yourself about it. Actually...PMDG does owe some of us as we paid for a product. Business 101: You don't EVER give deadline dates unless you can meet them. Plain and simple, because this is what happens. If you take your car in to get an oil change and they say it will be done in an hour, the you expect your car to be ready in an hour. Especially when you pay in advance. Now before you guys fry me, I know what PMDG wrote. "Currently, we are projecting a release that will definitely take place during 2008, and most likely take place before Christmas. At least- this is according to our current progress rate, and of course could change if we run into something unexpected during final testing!" But the problem is that is not what people read or hear. They hear: "Currently, we are projecting a release that will definitely take place during 2008, and most likely take place before Christmas." And more to the point: "and most likely take place before Christmas." I firmly believe that PMDG has leared their lesson about "updates" but it would be courteous at this point if you would keep updating us.

I agree with what you have said but all PMDG have done is only estimate. And estimates are just that. They are never going to be entirely accurate. PMDG never said that they are definitely going to release before Christmas, but as you said, people have taken it this way due to the way they have worded their words, if that makes sense... :(

Personally I really don't care if the MD-11 for FS9 is delivered now or in a few weeks. I already bought the combo and are still busy with studying the manuals.However, I think that PMDG has made a small mistake in comunications.Robert himself made the following statement in another thread on Dec., 19th."The PMDG MD-11 for FS9 is about to "go gold" which means you don't have much longer to wait."Unfortunately since than there was no more word from the developers. I mean, PMDG should not wonder that, after such a statement, the expectation level is high. Of course there is nothing said about a chrismas release.I would highly appreciate a word from the developers, that does not need to be a release date. We are sorry that we could not meet our projected 2008 release however a few technical glitches have come up. We will complete this when we have enjoyed living our own lifes during this great holiday season which is quickly coming to end and back to work for all of us. Once the product is finished you all will be notified. Thankyou"With the above being the more or less obvious, would you all acknowledge and accept that then?
