Someone just lock this thread already... The 767 is for FSX only so who really cares about it in a FS9 forum. If you want to fight about anything fight about the fact that they dropped support for the FS9 757 and left us with a ton of bugs while the FSX version is at 4.3... They didn't even care enough to fix what they sold us... Maybe everyone will get lucky and be able to land with empty wings and full center tanks in the 767 also LOL!!!-Paul

No it doesn't work in 2.1...and the infamous ctd's on every 2 out of 3 flights. I just had One while on final approach after a 4 hour flight from KSEA-KCVG. It really makes you want to throw your computer against the wall. These are a couple of reasons why I am having a hard time stomaching CaptainSim's decision to build yet another plane without continuing to support their half as....er.. finished product. Heck PMDG still supports the B1900 and 737 series, but that's like comparing apples to bananas. And the really sad thing is that people will continue to buy from them.All that I can say is: Comeon AirSimmer!!! I am ready for a new challenge, and it seems like Airimmer is going to be that fresh breath of air.

Well, I must be a really lucky guy as I had none, though I've been flying the Captain's 757 for more than a month now.One thing that comes to my head is that I heard some users had CTDs while using the FMC.I didn't but I'm using current AIRACs, so the old one (provided with the bird) might be faulty. I have tried both current AIRACS and the one that was provided with the package. I usually get the ctd when trying to finalize the PERF INIT page. I have tried entering it in several different ways with several different figures, but I get the same result. The ctd that I had yesterday happened when I tried to enter an altitude restriction that a VATSIM controller gave me. I enetered the restriction, and tried to close the discontinuity and bam..."Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working and needs to close."

Case closedThe fact is Captain Sim has the best 757 out there, it gets bashed alot more then it should. No one is perfect but its a well rounded plane.

No the case is not closed, fuel burn is incorrect, gauge programming is incorrect, they are programmed to drain the wing tanks before the center tanks so on long hauls you have to enable unlimited fuel and land with wing tanks empty and all sorts of warning lights on the O/H, fuel predictions are ridiculous, BUT it is the prettiest 757 out there I will give it that. In terms of realism, PSS wins hands down in terms of visuals no one argues the CS757 is beautiful...Just my .02 but if you are going to say how beautiful it is at least be open with its deficiencies and let people make an educated decision. -P

Great Job!!! I'm just sick of people bashing Captain Sim. I don't agree with there business ethics but you have to admit either way , they make some great aircraft over the years and some of there work is cutting edge. They should quit comparing to PMDG cause you won't be paying 80 dollars for Captain sim. For what you pay you get a good product that is enjoyable.

I'd like to add I'm perfectly happy with my LDS 767. I have every modern airliner in the air thanks to developers like Captain Sim, Feelthere, and PMDG. If CS want's to make a 767 for FSX only so be it I have LDS's outstanding work. If LDS wants to make a 757 solely for FSX I have Captainsim's 757 which I'm more than happy with (knowing the commonality of the 757/767 LDS better take a page from CS and make those VC's look comparable no matter the fact their 767 is older work)... The one plane that hasn't been done by anyone in decent fashion in Flight Simulator is the 717. Now if someone developed that bird exclusively for FSX then I'll get ######... :( :(
