September 15, 200916 yr It was posted by a PMDG team member that the Crash 8 was just in the planning stage now. Hopefully it will go into full force development once the first update for the J41 is out. Then they will be able to work on the 737NG 2.0 and the Dash 8.Chad
September 15, 200916 yr Am I the only one tempted to get some popcorn when these threads come up?Paul
September 15, 200916 yr I think I've noticed that they come in waves. You know, like how traffic flow on a busy highway always bunches up. The guy that noticed that invented the travelling wave tube after recognizing that electrons behave the same way. TWTs made communications satellites possible, and when the TWTs became powerful enough we started getting TV broadcast via satellite direct to our homes so we can watch funny beer commercials during a football game. September 15, 200916 yr What honestly is the difference between a 777 and a 737 - when flying in FS?!?!? Nothing! It's great we finally have a realistic turbo prop. I was hoping they would make a PMDG level CRJ - because there are no decent models of regional jets yet. Blake Williams
September 15, 200916 yr My question is : Why do you think the 777 is so great ?BenIs this a rhetorical question? Erik L.
September 15, 200916 yr yes, absolutly.I would like to know why so many people like this aircraft.Ben
September 15, 200916 yr TBH, it's kind of an unfair question. It's like asking someone who is scottish why they like Haggas. Or a vegetarian asking a meat eater why they like T Bone.We all have different tastes. Personally, I like the 777 but couldn't care less if PMDG decide to make one or not. If they do make one, I'd buy it. If not, I'll wait for the next offering. Goran

Your absolutly right I will admit I am excited about the NGX but after that I don't think another "heavy" is needed. I love the j41 and the dash 8 will also be fantastic addition to our virtual hangars! Whatever it is that comes out of the PMDG "production building" will definately have a home in my hangar! How about a MU-2 or a Shorts sd-360. There are a hand full of heavies out there Levev d has the 763 nailed and then theres capt. sim and the 757 and then the PMDG NGX. When pmdg announced the JS41 I was thrilled because it's something different! The way I see it is that after the NGX who is going to be overly excited after waiting a year or two for a 777 which is just a BIG version of a 737? Hard to express my self properly on a keyboard but you kinda see where I'm going with this? Just my thoughts! September 15, 200916 yr About the next plane of PMDG, I hope it's gonna be a challenge for them.A falcon 7X is way harder to make than a triple 7. With this dassault you have a lot of things that nearly impossible to make, maybe not for PMDG, like :- Enhanced Vision System- Synthetic vision- Live charts- Etc...Ben

G5, 7x would be Awsome! Gulfstream is thinking about letting their aircraft be modled in detail, weather that happens or not we'll have to wait and see! synthetic vision would be cool too! Good call! September 16, 200916 yr - Synthetic vision- 3D vision- Live charts- Etc...Ugh - could you imagine if PMDG modeled synthetic vision with live charts?? They can do anything - maybe it's in the future. Blake Williams
