PMDG 777!

Featured Replies

What honestly is the difference between a 777 and a 737 - when flying in FS?!?!? Nothing! It's great we finally have a realistic turbo prop. I was hoping they would make a PMDG level CRJ - because there are no decent models of regional jets yet.
Well the Flight1 Super 80 and Super 80 PRO are really good. there probably the best regional jets for FSX out there...Jeff

I think you shouldn't speak to a customer or future customer like that, In a lot of forums people complaining about PMDG attitude on this forum. You spoke 2 times on this thread about definition of "be a retard" and remember a member to sign is post. Why not sharing with us which plane you want to see in the future...Benjamin
lol...PMDG staff like to have a sense of humor. when someone says it's a shame they didn't do something, it's a good idea to fight back with a joke.

PMDG staff should answer the question first and make a joke after if they want. What i said before about the PMDG reputation on other forums is true.An example, instead of blocking, deleting, or bad replying to a post, why not making a blog about a product ? Everybody gonna be happy. I hope it's what you want from the people on this forum.BenjaminPS : PMDG deleted my thread "congratulation PMDG 2" because i said it wasn't normal from this well known quality company to don't have a cold and dark, damage generator and FMS hold on the JS41. Thanks :(

Yes, well, they've already answered the question MANY times. As for your thread, you have to realize that the aircraft costs $45. Adding in a cold & dark/panel state feature and damage/failure model would cost them extra time and MONEY. It was beyond the scope of this project and thus, they decided to leave these things out. Besides, J41 flights are usually about an hour long, who would save the panel state to come back and finish such a short flight? They didn't forget about it, they took into consideration all the different factors and weighed out the most important ones.

PMDG reputation is fine on other forums, except perhaps for a few disgruntled and over sensitive individuals. They don't need much to ###### about anything ....Also since it is their forum they set rules and they don't need advice when and how exactly to make a joke or scold someone.C'est la vie ... :(

We appreciate people being interested in what we are up to and what our plans are. Our plans have been layed out, multiple times, in this forum and elsewhere. We are working on a 737 NG, and we are working on a Dash8. This will take us into 2010 at which point we will decide what comes next. You might be surprised, but we have not planned out every airplane we will build for the rest of our lives. As far as deleting posts go, if you don't sign your post, it may get deleted. If we deem that a post is offensive in any way, it will be deleted.

Because we have standards of behavior in this forum. If these standards are not met, we will either nudge people in the right direction, or delete their posts. It's simple. As for sharing with you which plane we would like to see in the future: How does an NG and a Dash 8 sound?

I do not speak about about PMDG reputation which is very good, but about their forum.

I know what you mean, but i think a car sale man will not make fun of an actual or future customerBenjamin

Two blogs about the NGX and the Dash 8, will not stop but, will reduce a lot request about those plane on the Support forum.

It's not what I said, I ask you which aircraft you would want to see in FSX.

My thread was polite, signed, and respected the rules, but was deleted... About your " standards of behavior in this forum" you should keep thread or post that follow the rules even if what they say is not for the best ad for PMDG...Benjamin

I'm sorry, was someone being made fun of? I don't think so. Mocked perhaps, but I assure you, I had no fun doing it. :(

We do. In fact there are two: One is called "PMDG Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING " and the other is called "You MUST SIGN YOUR FULL REAL NAME to posts to use this forum. Posts without names will be DELETED!. They are both pinned at the top of the PMDG forum, and have been for the past 8 years. There is no need to keep a post that has violated our rules. Now, is there anything I can actually DO for you Benjamin? Or would you like to hear more about our future plans? Did I mention we were working on a Dash 8 and a 737NG?

My thread respected those rules so why did the team deleted my "Congratulation PMDG 2" ???Benjamin

Sometimes threads get deleted for content or direction the THREAD is going in, not necessarily the original post. This is probably what occurred here.

This is weird because the 2 last posts were from me about bugs in the JS41, even Ryan write 2 posts on this thread. And it didn't vanish after 10 minutes but after 2-3 days without reply...I think there is more than PMDG rules on this forum.Benjamin

777 would be great to see but it's not going to happen, people should leave it alone now. The Dash 8 is coming, if it's the Q400, it's on par or better than the 777 IMO. (I'm really hoping to see early development shots of a Dash 8 with a long fuselage).Mark

This is probably what occurred here.
This is strange... :( I can't find anymore, the thread of Robert or Ryan saying that the JS41 3D cockpit is closer to a default FSX plane, about frame per second, than the PMDG MD11 or 747... :( :( B) Benjamin
