September 16, 200916 yr or maybe a BAE 146?+1It's because they already made a 777. Why do the same plane twice? You mean because of the fact, that Boeing bought MD, and use some MD11 design to make the 777 ?Ben
September 16, 200916 yr I agree with more turboprops. Now I personally would LOVE to see a King Air B200GT with a colins prolin 21 in it. YES, i know F1 is makeing a king air V3(of the aeeroworx) as some people call it but i dont think it will have the proline.Chris

September 16, 200916 yr "Ok feel free to smack me here but does anyone think a high quality C-17 globemaster would be cool? or maybe a BAE 146?"I am sure that you know this but Alphasim is doing the C-17 Globemaster. The information is at the bottom of the page dated from May 26. Whether this aircraft is complex enough for your liking I don't know I don't really know anything about Alphasim. http://www.alphasim.co.uk/ Mike Keigley
September 16, 200916 yr I'd love a Boeing 777. I've had many great experiences on the 777, and I would love to recreate those flights.Regards,Awais M. Regards, Awais Muzaffar
September 16, 200916 yr What MD11 bits were used in the 777?PaulThe EPCU of the MD-11 and the ELMS of the 777 have some similarities. Both are for electrical power management. Allan Burek

I absolutely LOVE the JS4100! :( I'm also eagerly awaiting their Dash 8, though my gut feeling tells me that they probably aren't going to do the Q400 (which is what I REALLY want)... rather they are probably going to do the 100/200/300 series... which would be ok too! My hope is that somewhere down the road, PMDG will tackle the Saab 340 or perhaps even the Saab 2000! I currently use the old FFS Saab 340 in FSX and it works fine, but I'd rather see a native FSX version from PMDG!As for the King Air 200... I would wait and see what Flight 1 has up their sleeve for that one... my guess is that they are going to do the earlier EFIS version and analogue version, but they might surprise us and do the Proline 21 version, as well. Regardless, if it is anything like their Mustang, it'll be worth it! I'd rather let PMDG do more regional airliners - turboprops, RJs, etc!- Alex
September 17, 200916 yr What honestly is the difference between a 777 and a 737 - when flying in FS?!?!? Nothing! It's great we finally have a realistic turbo prop. I was hoping they would make a PMDG level CRJ - because there are no decent models of regional jets yet.Blake, that's a silly question. If you think there is no difference between the 737 and 777, then what exactly is the difference between ANY plane is FS?I've weighed in on this issue ad infinitum, so I see no need to re-state the multiple compelling reasons why PMDG should prioritize a 777. If I were a betting man, which I am, I would bet that PMDG will produce a 777 somewhere down the road. It's a question of "when", not "if."Fidel Lopez
September 17, 200916 yr I think I recall somewhere a PMDG member mentioning that they start a new aircraft about a week after releasing the previous one. So, would we expect PMDG to drop a project? Perhaps not... IMO, even if they haven't given us any concrete information regarding the Dash 8, you should all assume it's under production. As is the NGX... Which I think is nearly "completed". Remember, they mentioned an ETA for the NGX in 2010. Erik L.
September 17, 200916 yr I would love to see a good B777, as it is a really beautiful airplane. The flight deck might look similar to the B737NG but in reality they are two completely different animals. I do think it would be very difficult for the developers to create a good B777 due to its complexity. Re-creating the electronic checklist and it's logic, the EICAS system and the avionics would be a very difficult task. The electronic checklist is absolutely amazing by the way and I think only the A380 is the only airliner that has a similar system. No paper checklist is used and virtually all situations/scenarios are covered by the checklist. If a problem arises, we just press the checklist button and the correct checklist is displayed. Its an amazing system. The J41 looks nice by the way, but I have no interest in buying an airplane without a 2D panel. Shame you guys didn't make a 2d panel!!

September 17, 200916 yr If a problem arises, we just press the checklist button and the correct checklist is displayed. Its an amazing system. And if more than one checklist applies to a given emergency - the most important checklist is displayed first. Yes, it is amazing. Michael J.
September 17, 200916 yr It's a shame you didn't sign your post with your real name, according to PMGD forum rules.I think you shouldn't speak to a customer or future customer like that, In a lot of forums people complaining about PMDG attitude on this forum. You spoke 2 times on this thread about definition of "be a retard" and remember a member to sign is post. Why not sharing with us which plane you want to see in the future...Benjamin
