October 16, 200916 yr Have I missed the release then ??I have been away from the FS scene for a good few years - amazed at how long posts regarding this aircraft have been going on (2 years +).Now with the Aces team reforming I am wondering if we will be getting FSvNext before the CX...... :( GGuys, I've mentioned that the FSX Version is currently in Beta Test and that process is going extremely well.We hope to have more news very soon now but meantime you may visit our FSX Citation X Extreme 2.0 Forum for the latest screenshots and information.Trust us, we want to release yesterday but must squash a few pesky insects first. :(
October 16, 200916 yr It was cleverly hidden in the "AVSIM User Survey and Poll" forum... :( http://www.avsim.com/poll/fillsurvey.php?sid=33 I am going to assume that you all are not putting all your faith in one poll in one quite obscure subforum here. :) Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

October 19, 200916 yr To respond back to the original question, I wanted to add my opinion that Eaglesoft products have been worth every cent of money I paid for them. I've used serveral models starting in FS9 and now in FSX, and all have been outstanding. In my opinion they are top of the line products that I highly recommend.GW

I have cruised your website various times looking for this particular release, but there are only FS9 screenshots available on the bottom hyperlink and searching your forum only reveals Eaglesoft in Vista and, Coupons and some of your other titles available, nothing about the CitationX I could find. Anyway you could attach a hyperlink so I can find it directly and please forgive me if it was right in front of my eyes. The FS9 version looks great, but really want to see the FSX version. ThanksMatt

October 20, 200916 yr You have to register to see all forums. Thanks Warp. I usually catch the caveat to pre-register but missed it this time. There are defintely some fantastic shots in that forum, now if they would just release it, would be sported proudly in my hangar. I was really impressed with the difference between the Wilcopub variant and this one, and I really liked the Wilcopub one. I will have to relegate it to a backup status once this one is released.Matt

October 20, 200916 yr Commercial Member Wow. Amazing screenshots. Is it still framerate friendly, or should I start saving up for a new mean gaming PC?That would depend on your current system. :( Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
October 20, 200916 yr Wow. Amazing screenshots. Is it still framerate friendly, or should I start saving up for a new mean gaming PC?Many thanks! Actually she's extremely easy on frames in FSX/SP2 and DX10 but as you know, FSX needs plenty of horses to run well. The old addage that everyones mileage varies applies to any FS9/FSX Aircraft. I'll try to add another shot with FPS showing sometime. :(

October 20, 200916 yr HelloHopefully the delay is only because Ron is getting some glass fitted to the VC windows :-)Glass is present. If you mean interior glass reflections we don't do those. :(
October 20, 200916 yr Glass is present. If you mean interior glass reflections we don't do those. :(Hello RonBut why not provide the option for reflections, I know opinion is split on this. Some like the effect and others don't, but both groups are potential paying customers. You really have the chance to back both horses in a two horse race here, you cannot lose.Presumably along with the lack of reflections you wont be doing icing on the windows or VC raindrops. These are now features of the leading Addons produced recently, Addons which have been in developmentfor a shorter time than the CX , These now set the bar that developers have to aim for. There is now (with the hardware we have available) no performance penalty in having VC cockpit window reflectionswhich was the often quoted reason in the past for leaving them out.Ron, the developers that refused to move past the 2D panel only and would not move forward and provide good Virtual cockpits have now almost totally disappeared.I see some of the same attitudes coming from Eaglesoft, and yet I know you guys can do all of this stuff without breaking sweat.Just get with the program Eaglesoft :-)

We've heard all the pro/con eye candy arguments that folks can conjur up.In addition, we know that for all the calls made for effects files A, B, and C, folks really just want to fly accurately. We included the first animated VIP Passenger in our CX1.0 but included the option to fly without her.We included the very first animated parachute in our Cirrus Series. To date, folks pop the the chute once or twice and barely touch it or comment on its use from that point on.I won't bother you with the hard work and time required to provide that function. We even provided a toggle for SR22 Turbo "Glass Tint" and found that people turn it off more than on.VC Rain will be there but doubt we'll take the time to do icing. I have a staff who need to and must move on to other projects. If we introduce new features or candy it will be at our leisure and on our time frame. At some point you have to make her work, call her done, and release. Eye candy notwithstanding. :(
