Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 for FSX?

Featured Replies

Hello all,Anyone here know when the Eaglesoft Citation 2 extreme lands for FSX? Been flying the old Wilco/Feelthere version for some time, but can't help drooling a little bit over the screenshots on their site. Wrote them and asked when it would come to FSX, as I saw a message on a forum from February saying "any day now", which obviously is a bit of a stretch, since it isn't out yet. Never heard from them. Anyone know anything?I haven't flown any of Eaglesofts other planes.. Are they usually of decent quality?

Eaglesoft FSX Citation X Extreme 2.0 has been and is in Beta Testing. There will be an announcement at all major FS Sites and our Website/Support Foums when she is ready for prime time. :( We'll let others answer the quality question since we are biased.:(

I have the FSX CJ1 and the FS9 Citation X v1.The only thing that I don't like about them is the fact that they don't have full FMS so you need to use the FS GPS (will not need to do that in the v2 aircraft), other than that they are fantastic (nearly the only things that I fly)...... looking forward to getting my hands on the V2 X. I did have a look at the Wilco version - but I couldn't get on with it at all after flying Eaglesoft's v1.G

I stopped flying it because the vc was too low res for me to see any buttons

If referring to the FSX Citation X V1.0 you could be running a low rez monitor or video card setup. While the FSX Citation X V1.0 was pretty good for its time FSX Citation X Extreme V2.0 is a totally new project from top to bottom. That why it's called Citation X Extreme V2.0. :(

I have almost all the ES planes, and they are second to none. The planes, their attitude, and the support are top shelf and I can't recommend them enough.

Definitely their attitude - they're a feisty bunch of planes. The GA aircraft are particularly cocky... they'll bite you if you don't treat them right!
Say what? You can't even have the FSX version yet.
the talk was about v1 for fsx. I couldn't read a lot of the buttons including every one of them on the AP panel. I knew where they were but had to use 2d popups sometimes to make sure I was selecting the right one. My monitor is fine and I run the highest resolution possible on the 24"

I thought so. CXV1.0 did present a problem for some but others seemed to be ok.At any rate, there really is no comparison between V1.0 and V2.0 since V2.0 is rebuilt from top to bottom. :(

Ha Ha, Felix you are a funny guy. :(

Well, this certainly sounds promising. Now we just need it released. :-)Ron, if you need a very experienced simmer as beta tester for this, let me know.

Thanks Ape. Full up right now but we'll keep you in mind. :(

I have some EagleSoft aircraft and love them all. It's hard to beat the ES quality and support. However I would like to see a greater veriety of single and twin engine aircraft .

You are right, but I found that if you toss a few Valium in the fuel, they calm right down and become rather docile :(
