Thanks Mark, I like the SR22 Turbo myself. While I don't have the Duke, the Real Air guys do a great job. :(

Thanks fish, still working out a few kinks to make her a bit more accurate. Beta testing is going well and we hope to have the FSX Version ready soon now.:-)

Soon ...........I'm still waiting to eat my words on the Citation X 2.0 for FSX, becomming vapourware..... all the news and updates that come out of ES are always about the FS2004 version. We joked about it, and Ron is a good sport, but 2 weeks have passed, with updates and news about the FS2004 version (which are irrelevent to the majority of people, simming on the latest platform; FSX) ........ so how soon is soon.I think for the ES Citation 2.0 for FSX, soon is measured in years, not even months or weeks ?When was the CX 2.0 released for FS2004 ? How many months ago ?Wish you guys had put focus into the FSX version first ....... FS9 people may not like it but come on; even FSX is now 3 years old, and FS9 is approaching 7 years old ! The developers that tried to hang onto FS9 (like Dreamfleet sadly) are fast disappearing into obsurity - FSX has to be the priority.Davido.

I've been flying Flight1's Cessna Citation Mustang since she came out and I'm very pleased with her but of course I'll be tempted to try out the Citation X for FSX once she's released. Is there anyone who've flown both Eaglesoft's a/c and Flight1's Citation Mustang and can give some pros/cons?

Soon is when we "get it right". The FS9 vs FSX arguments fall on deaf ears as we are committed to both platforms.I'm advised that it would do more harm than good to release the FSX Citation X Extrme 2.0 until we squash a few insects. :(

According to the Survey results posted here at AVSIM, even after three years, the FS9/FSX divide remains almost evenly split...
MSFS FS9 - 1271 (50.5%) MSFS FSX - 1181 (46.9%)
So while the comment regarding those who've clung to FS9 exclusively is indeed correct, the first observation is statistically incorrect. :(

There is also a very large group that use both. I fly heavy freight in FS9 (PMDG MD11 mainly) because FSX is an enormous pig with 80% traffic at London City airport or KJFK. I fly FSX low and slow and with less complex aircraft. It's great having both. In any case I will buy one of the Citation X v2's once both are available. Bob.. :)

Yes but the thing is those survey's are intrinsically flawed because they always tend to originate from a camp that is trying to promote FS9 continuity, and thus they tend to discourage FSX users bothering to reply (ie... "another FS9 vs FSX survey, yawn!"), whereas FS9 users want to shout from the roof tops that they're still faithful to the old platform............ So .... FS9: 80% and FSX: 20%, which of course is nonsense! That's a fact my friend,Developers that hang onto FS9 tend to be those that are having trouble adapting to working with FSX (I'm not suggesting that's the case with Eaglesoft as I have the Cirrus SR22T and it's a great FSX product). It has to be about FSX these days !!Davido.

Whether the results of a poll or survey is, in your opinion accurate, is of no concern to those who hold the contrary view.Eaglesoft made the commitment to build specific sim platform products because FS9 and FSX are, in our view, the only viable FS platforms at this point in time. That commitment remains despite users obvious FS9 or FSX bias.I happen to run and enjoy both sim versions and see no reason to remove either one.Frankly, I enjoy the FS9 and FSX Citation X Extreme v2.0 equally. :(

What poll? When? Where??? :DI honestly never responded to it or saw it, that I can recall. Maybe I would add another .1% to the FSX column. :D

It was cleverly hidden in the "AVSIM User Survey and Poll" forum... :( http://www.avsim.com/poll/fillsurvey.php?sid=33

vaporware it is most definitely not.As I am not a wine connoiseur (sp?), I prefer to think of it as a fine steak, marinated and cooked slowly to perfection, and then served at the right moment to savor all the flavor....
vaporware it is most definitely not.
Have I missed the release then ??I have been away from the FS scene for a good few years - amazed at how long posts regarding this aircraft have been going on (2 years +).Now with the Aces team reforming I am wondering if we will be getting FSvNext before the CX...... :( G

I've been fortunate to (Ron - stop reading) see pre-beta screesnshots and sundry bits and pieces of the "real" thing ... (Ron - you can read now) and what I've seen makes the FS9 version look pass
