Now we who live in Charleston do too! :(
Amen, I plan on submitting resume's as soon as they are open....
Tails,No doubt Boeing intends to have the 787 flying by 2013, but don't expect to see a quality one for flightsim for some time after that. If you want one now, I'm sure for $20USD you can get something that vaguely looks like a 787 that uses some strange combination of default gauges and climbs at 8000 fpm fully loaded. I bet they'll even give you a few pictures from airliners.net for free!LOLOLIs the first 787 really going to be an -800? That's certainly an interesting way of looking at it. So we'll have 3 Dash 8's:Dash 8 Classic: DHC8Dash 8 Super: A388Dash 8 NG: B788PS. Viper, is that your car? That's the ultimate pilot car IMO!Paul
Well from what I know the 787 will come in a -8 version from the start (or close to it), but just wild speculation on my part :)RE:PSNah I don't own a Viper, would be nice, but I do own a "Skyline" which has a fairly appropriate name for a aviation enthusist/student pilot.

Due to PMDG's nature of making their air planes as close as possible to their real life counterparts, the real 787 it self would have to be released before PMDg could start working on it, and even then: it would prolly take some years. but I'll let the PMDG team have the final say in this. eeek!Ps. You need to sign your post with your real name, or put it in your signature =)
Or put more succinctly: The dreamliner is still just a simulation itself :(

I'm sure that goes well with the ladies when you take them to the airport..."The tiny one is a Skycatcher, that's a skyhawk, that one's a skylane, and my skyline is at the other side of the field."The Viper is a sick car. I saw one in green for the first time recently. It looks good in any paint scheme.

LOL. Yes, but it's a real world, full sized simulation ;)Paul

A new development group called Tigranstudios has announced they are doing a 787. They look promising, and it should be out before PMDG make one. They claim to have PMDG quality, we will see. They have an announcement in the Avsim Addon developers fqrum.

Once I see screenshots I'll think they look promising. Another issue with the 787 is the lack of airline procedures. To make a PMDG quality 787 you need to know how to operate the aircraft is operated on the line, and I doubt that information will be available for a while.

Many products claim to be of PMDG quality while under development, then when they are released well... if you have been around flightsim long enough you know where Im going with this :(

In this instance though PMDG stands for Pointless, with Mostly Default Gauges. :(

Is there a way to auto ignore trolls, flamers and any post with a +1 in it here?

Dear PMDG: First of all i am amazed with the quality and service of your products, especially the PMDG 747 queen of the skies. PMDG made FSX really fly, and took it to a whole new level of neatness and realism. And because i trust that your products are 100% well made before they are available for purchase, i am requesting that you would make an FSX PMDG Boeing 787 DreamLiner. I hope that you consider making it in 2010 alongside or after the upcoming PMDG NGX for FSX. Sorry if i have posted this thread in the wrong forums. It has been an honor writing this request to the best FSX addon making team, the PMDG. sincerely Tails112
Agree with the high top Quality (Everything they made are) But we also wan

Looking at the release history of PMDG, i can say with certainty it will take at least 10 years before we see a PMDG 787
