I used to work in the chemical industry until I voluntered to stay at home. Flight sim enthusiast for about 8 years and Easyjet, Jet2, Monarch etc. passenger when I can. I used to have a PPL but gave it up as too expensive and frustrating here in UK( North Wales)

Climb mountains summer and winter, walk fresh woods & pastures new, drink beer, laze in the sun, drink more beer, pull silly faces with my daughter, drink yet more beer and when I have the time to spare for my employer I do the dirty work in repairing industrial control systems.I don't fly in the real world, only get transported cattle-class: I can't afford it, but maybe in a couple of years...

Mechanical engineer, currently finishing my thesis for a Master in Engineering. I also have a part-time job auditing a research project about durability of engines running on diesel-biodiesel blends and another one as a professor. I fly home every time I can, i.e., every time Aires/Easyfly/Avianca drop prices :( but always as a pax :(Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel

Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with PBO enabled (but default settings, CO -15 mV, and SMT ON), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX3060 Ti 8GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120 Hz, Windows 10 Pro. Runing FSX-SE, MSFS and P3D v5.4 (with v4.5 default airports).

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there... sometimes on just battery! FSX-SE also installed, just in case. 

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/travel.

I'm life support and a giant chew toy :( for a 1yr old Shih-poo, and a comfort toy :( for a 12yr old Shepherd. In my spare time - a telecomms engineer.
