I don't know why, but i think the suppresion of "simulator" is a clue of where is heading Microsoft with this new release, focusing in a bigger market (at least, bigger than the simulation market).I hope this won't happen , it's just a hunch :( CheersIgnacio :(
I read a post before explaining why "Simulator" was dropped from the title. It seemed credible and appeared to come from an inside source.Basically 'Simulator' was dropped for legal reasons, namely, to completely separate it (legally) from the old MS Flight Simulator product line.It makes sense to me, so I wouldn't get too worked up over the fact that "Simulator" is no longer in the title.Cheers,

Yet it's still only speculation.... unless it comes from Microsoft's legal/PR team don't believe a thing. They've had 2 press releases so far... It seems everyone knows someone at Microsoft leaking insider information....

My reliable source said that MS dropped the simulation because it was close to stimulation ... and they didn't what to have a problem selling to those under 18yrs of age. :(

Well your reliable source sucks, because that doesn't even make sense.

That comment applies to everything in these discussions that purportedly comes from so-called "reliable/insider" sources.

That was a bit of humor, offered completely tongue-in-cheek... :(
