The reason people complain about not enough traffic in UT2 isn't because they use real schedules. It's because of the way it is injected. Which only injects aircraft within minutes of it's departure/arrival. This is especially apparent late night, when aircraft that would be at the gates waiting for the morning departures disappear, until 20 minutes of scheduled departure. I use WOAI, (Sometimes I use UT2, because of video recording issues with FS9 modeled aircaft, which WOAI uses when I record) which also uses real schedules, and this is not a problem. You get a realistic amount of airline traffic (per Airline) that would normally be at an airport for the time of day. If you have installed most airlines, you should have a realistic airport population. The problem I have with MyTraffic and Traffic X, is this is greatly exaggerated and there is much more traffic then is realistic. Some like that, but I prefer more realistic levels!

I have UT2 but the disappearing airplanes, the 20 min trick and empty airports tick me off so I'm looking for an alternative. Everyone seems to be happy with MYT5.3pro: I checked the pictures at simmarket but those planes really are ugly.Why would traffic be exaggerated in MyT ? Is it possible to import ut2 planes/schedules into MYT ? I'm not into fake schedules much..Thanks

Yesterday i got MT 5.3 pro, and i also have UT2. The only thing i really miss is the powerful program in UT2, very easy to add traffic in seconds.Its all about Money/performance/and what it gives me. In my opinion my traffic 5.3 gives me more traffic and more performace, and i prefer this over Good models+less fps+good editor.Is all about taste, my benchmarks are LFPG and KJFK on 31L and 80% of traffic, my traffic is a winner, ugly models? maybe, but is more enjoyable and have better atmosphere than UT.This is only my opinion :(

It seems a lot of people judge MTX on pics on SimMarket. As a user of MTXv5.3 Pro, the models are vastly superior than on those screen shots. Having said that, my concern in FSX is how real does the ai traffic make the airport appear as I fly my LDS 767. My interest in FSX is not sitting on the end of the runway watching ai buzz around. Also when I have a ton of ai in an airport, which I now run at 50%, and I have no fps hit due to ai traffic, I am a happy camper. With MTX 5.3 I had traffic up to 100% and could not find a parking spot at my airports, and still had good performance, so I backed down to 50% just to have room to park. IMHO, MTX 5.3 is a ai dream, Burkhart has done an amazing job with this release.Bob

Yes ok. I was not clear enough.What I was trying to say tho is that even if your not into plane spotting the way ai planes look is not so irrelevant.To me at least.

I can't comment on any other program so I'll address the OP question. My first and only AI program was MYTX Lite. When I saw what it did, I had to upgrade to the Pro version. It's a great program.Randall

SimMarket's servers are just a fail-boat for me.I've had to redownload this 10 times, and every time, the connection times out. Using a download manager and trying all 3 of the download servers available hasn't worked.Yesterday I had 100mb to go... then timed-out. Fun all around.Hopefully it finishes today...

If you still have problems finishing the download then please go to the official support forum and explain your situation there, I'm certain that Burkhard will sort you out.

The high-detail + animation AI looks pretty good. As good as it did in Traffic X which I was happy with, and the performance hit isn't too bad.However, I can run the low detail aircraft with virtually no performance impact at all at 100%. I'm one of those guys that likes to fly into a full airport, so I'm pretty happy about this.
