Maybe not related, but yesterday I tried 2 flights with Asobo´s 747-8, and the last part of the flight plan was not visible on plane´s fp nor the map. Tried the same flight with CS 767, and it was just fine. All flights made with world map.

You already have the 3060ti? I would go to a amd 6800 non XT, you´ll have 16gb vram and a LOT more performance.

As a casual simmer, I think the only thing I really miss is the AI, I mean the FS2004 AI level. I miss spending hours only doing spotting in a big hub. I think if we get a better ATC and AI traffic, at least for me, FS will be more or less complete. I got the latinVFR static planes, and is good, at least I see something on my destination, as real traffic is disabled, because last time I tried AI, I got a plane crossing in front of me seconds after take off 😄

Stupid question, don´t kill me please. But we´ll able to fly with world map routes or we have to program all the things? I´m not a hardcore simmer and i´m happy with bredok3d version, but will consider get this if someone who only load a plan on world map and fly, can enjoy this. Thanks in advance.

It took me a lot of testing find a good settings for my system. My 6900XT had some problems and no more stock was available, so I was completly... dead. Got a 6700xt but my system and monitor was built for the 6900xt in mind, with a 4k monitor still 60hz. So, high settings, nothing on ultra, 80% scale resolution from 4k, and vsync 30 FPS gives me an amazing experience. I really miss the 200 lods, 100 looks a bit bland on distance, but for me it really worth the effort. One setting that got me headache was the panels refresh rate, it was 8-10 FPS difference from high to low, dont know if this setting is CPU or GPU bound, so I keep it on LOW, as it gives me stutters with vsync enabled!

I really don´t need more FPS, I need smoothness.. can´t wait to fire it up again after weeks in P3D, really hope for some improvements 😞

Was on the middle of the flight between kewr-kord, 737-max, I went to the kitchen for some drink, 30 seconds, when I came back the sim was gone, no messages, simple gone, is the third CTD of the day, and never had a CTD in MSFS before, I find amazing that we are beta testing a product for 7 months, I lost almost 2 hours of my Saturday trying to relax in my sim, but sometimes is really hard to find time and energy to continue doing this.

Until this gets fixed, I´m flying with vsync and 20fps capped, no stutters or pauses anywhere on the sim, did a KLAX-KSEA supersmooth, 20 fps is not ideal, but I prefer 20fps super smooth than a stutter party, guys, try it out, it works here.

Is strange, I got the 737 max this morning, and did a test flight and all was good, 30FPS vsync on. Now I just did a KEWR-CYYZ flight and was terrible, stutter everywhere I almost shut the sim off, it´s not enjoyable. All online options was enabled, but it was also enabled on my test flight. Even switched to medium settings just to land correctly, but nope, all the same. In my case was FPS degradation+stutter. All on 4k high.

Specs in my signature, 4k Ultra except lod at 100, motion blur off, DOF off and instrument refresh rate at low. I was with RTX 2060 on the same system, and got a 6900 XT now, and I don ´t have words to describe it, is truly amazing. Still amazes me the amount of VRAM the sim can use under certain circunstancies, did a short KPHL-KLGA on the caravan, and VRAM was on 15GB on the approach, I mean, I have 16gb, but I´m worried that when addons starts to get serious, 16gb will not be enough to get a perfect performance. Another thing is some stutter and texture blur, but my observations is that is a stutter caused by the texture loading, nothing was overload on the CPU and GPU side, I don´t know if can be my wifi connection or something, still have to try out. I can go down to High settings, but.... it hurts when I have a 1.300€ and 10kg of card on my system... 😄

Good morning, I'm getting started with P3d and its awesome, got cls 747 classic, quality wings 757 and the avro and my aerosim 777 and 747, my ftx global and rex td all working fine. But the simmersky package are working perfect, during installation i put my keys, the installer not detected fsx but i was able to choose p3d install folder all went fine. But vc are not clickable, nothing. The 2d panel is perfect. It can be a p3d bug or a product fault i dont know. Any one with this problem with this package or the same problem with other planes? Is there any workaround for this? Thanks in advance guys. Oh and i remember from fsx if you zoom out too far you lose the clicks but here i tried everything and nothing works.

Yes I´m sure that I´ll go for 4.3-4.4 but not with my curent cooler. Things are way better (smooth) now with 4770K, than before wih my 2500k at 4.5, don´t know exactly why, as my 4770k is at 4.ghz right now....

Hey guys, Last week I got a MSi Z97 Gaming 5, a 4770K, an Asus 770 DCII OC and a Crucial BallistiX 1866 8GB ram. I was with no PC so because I really need it for work, I got the 4770k instead wait for the 4790k. All is good compared with my old 2500k, the i7 is a beast, FSX is running fine with (finally...) all the addons together. With one click on the MSi bios I was able to jump to 4.0GHZ, temps is really good ( 49 with a 412s with 2 Noctuas in push-pull, and 2 180mm AP182 at 2500rpm in front of my Silverstone FT04BW, afer 4 hours of prime 95.), question is, I have seen that OC the 4770 is "harder" than my 2500k, really do not understand some things on my bios. Can i stay with 4.0ghz, or I´ll see a big performance increase going to 4.2-4.3? Thanks guys.

That´s why always i try to put all the gauges in the own panel folder and not on the main gauges folder... happened to me some time ago.

This is like AeroSim, not that is bad, but it´s truly overpriced for what it offers.. And AeroSim is also Japanese, right?

Sorry to say this.. i'm not a troll and my intention is not to do any critics to this "tweak", sure it can have its benefits and can be very good for some users, i respect that. Well, my storywith windows 8 is not 100% great at this moment. Since i will move from Spain to Brazil en 2 months, i had to sell my pc, and bought this laptop, and it´s awesome for all the things, the best thing is the screen, 1080p in a 17.3" laptop is freaking amazing. But, all can´t be perfect.. Installed first, of course, FS9, since i was sure that FSX will not be smooth at all, and i will not get the level of detail i got on my desktop PC. First of all, my wife have an samsung laptop, very basic, and i3 with an amd 5450 512mb and w7, the laptop is 2 years old. Installed FS9 there lat year only for test it, and FS9 was working really really well, my benchmark is always FSDT KJFK, lined up on 31L and looking to the terminals, the FPS was 21 i think with all the WOAI packages, so is really impressive. FS9 in this laptop is great, all installed great, all runs great..... until i do ALT+TAB, or touch something on the menus, or change resolutions, etc, 90% of the times, the graphics will be black when i try to get to the flight, only the sound will work. The gauges on the default 777-300 also will not load. So, installed FSX, its horrible, well, not horrible, but fly in FSX in those conditions, i prefer not fly FSX. I don´t know, but i´m almost sure that W8 is the cause of those problems, i dont know what to do, since i don´t know when i will get an decent desktop again, and i don´ want quit flight simming. I´m completly dissapointed, since iracing, rfactor, etc.. all works just fine, but having those titles working but no FS9.... there is no point. :(
