Uninstalled it some time ago, looking to give it a try again, can someone confirms that ALL default airliners works with the integrated EFB? This was a problem before, IIRC.

Yeah, did a flight, during app it started to stutter like crazy, landed, restarted and stuck on checking for update screen. I mean, some people like me waits all the week to get a little bit of time to do our beloved hobby, but im tired.

Didn´t realize how good 2020 is, until tested 2024, and get back to 2020. 2024 is bought and on my library, will wait at least a year to install it again.

I respect your opinion 🙂 But this is not 2004 anymore, on ATi days I can say easily " go nvidia ". But now, for gaming, the winner combo is a 7800x3D + 7900XTX to get the most out of your budget / price ratio. If I had the money, I only would look at the 4090. Oh, of course, I don´t care and don´t want nothing with raytracing, if you want it, go nvidia, obviously.

Good morning, I'm getting started with P3d and its awesome, got cls 747 classic, quality wings 757 and the avro and my aerosim 777 and 747, my ftx global and rex td all working fine. But the simmersky package are working perfect, during installation i put my keys, the installer not detected fsx but i was able to choose p3d install folder all went fine. But vc are not clickable, nothing. The 2d panel is perfect. It can be a p3d bug or a product fault i dont know. Any one with this problem with this package or the same problem with other planes? Is there any workaround for this? Thanks in advance guys. Oh and i remember from fsx if you zoom out too far you lose the clicks but here i tried everything and nothing works.

Yes I´m sure that I´ll go for 4.3-4.4 but not with my curent cooler. Things are way better (smooth) now with 4770K, than before wih my 2500k at 4.5, don´t know exactly why, as my 4770k is at 4.ghz right now....

Hey guys, Last week I got a MSi Z97 Gaming 5, a 4770K, an Asus 770 DCII OC and a Crucial BallistiX 1866 8GB ram. I was with no PC so because I really need it for work, I got the 4770k instead wait for the 4790k. All is good compared with my old 2500k, the i7 is a beast, FSX is running fine with (finally...) all the addons together. With one click on the MSi bios I was able to jump to 4.0GHZ, temps is really good ( 49 with a 412s with 2 Noctuas in push-pull, and 2 180mm AP182 at 2500rpm in front of my Silverstone FT04BW, afer 4 hours of prime 95.), question is, I have seen that OC the 4770 is "harder" than my 2500k, really do not understand some things on my bios. Can i stay with 4.0ghz, or I´ll see a big performance increase going to 4.2-4.3? Thanks guys.

That´s why always i try to put all the gauges in the own panel folder and not on the main gauges folder... happened to me some time ago.

This is like AeroSim, not that is bad, but it´s truly overpriced for what it offers.. And AeroSim is also Japanese, right?

Sorry to say this.. i'm not a troll and my intention is not to do any critics to this "tweak", sure it can have its benefits and can be very good for some users, i respect that. I´ll not buy it right now, not this year. PMDG can charge what they want, there are no competition, is like Intel and AMD.

Well, my storywith windows 8 is not 100% great at this moment. Since i will move from Spain to Brazil en 2 months, i had to sell my pc, and bought this laptop, and it´s awesome for all the things, the best thing is the screen, 1080p in a 17.3" laptop is freaking amazing. But, all can´t be perfect.. Installed first, of course, FS9, since i was sure that FSX will not be smooth at all, and i will not get the level of detail i got on my desktop PC. First of all, my wife have an samsung laptop, very basic, and i3 with an amd 5450 512mb and w7, the laptop is 2 years old. Installed FS9 there lat year only for test it, and FS9 was working really really well, my benchmark is always FSDT KJFK, lined up on 31L and looking to the terminals, the FPS was 21 i think with all the WOAI packages, so is really impressive. FS9 in this laptop is great, all installed great, all runs great..... until i do ALT+TAB, or touch something on the menus, or change resolutions, etc, 90% of the times, the graphics will be black when i try to get to the flight, only the sound will work. The gauges on the default 777-300 also will not load. So, installed FSX, its horrible, well, not horrible, but fly in FSX in those conditions, i prefer not fly FSX. I don´t know, but i´m almost sure that W8 is the cause of those problems, i dont know what to do, since i don´t know when i will get an decent desktop again, and i don´ want quit flight simming. I´m completly dissapointed, since iracing, rfactor, etc.. all works just fine, but having those titles working but no FS9.... there is no point. :(

Wow; tell me the secret please. With my rig+rexess+ Word Not Allowed's settings and 40% of mytraffic 5.4a, i got 12 fps approaching 31L yesterday on fsdt jfk. And 10.2 fps was the worst fps when taxing to the gate. i can have serious problem with my system since you can get more than 100% fps than me with 100% of non fsx optimized AI. Lucky you!!!! With my ex 7950 my aa settings was identical, 4 msaa with super sampling on. Fsx also was almost the same except for dx9, lens flare, and my traffic 5.4 pro at 40%. I respect Word Not Allowed and i know that he knows are he was doing, so, if we have a very very good bench from Word Not Allowed, go and test it. I had a asus gtx 560 ti, sold it and bought the 7950, it was a terrible mistake because it cannot compete with nvidia in COMPARABLE(this is the word) settings, and im not saying this because im a a a really excited user oh my.. I really wanted to try an amd card KNOWING that amd cannot compete with nvidia, but i didn't know that the difference is really huge with the same settings. Tapatalk2, Samsung Galaxy Note.

Sorry, with my settings in fsx(exactly the same as Word Not Allowed's) and his cloud test, with all my respects, is totally impossible that you can get 27 fps on the aa cloud test. Of course with the same fsx settings and comparable levels of aa of 8s+2 or 4 sgsaa. For me, Word Not Allowed's cloud test is a very good benchmark of what a gpu is capable of, follow his guide and settings, do the cloud bench. Im almost 100% sure that it will be difficult for a 5850 to get double digits fps, based on performance of my ex 7950. Tapatalk2, Samsung Galaxy Note.

With the exact the same system in my profile, i had an ATi 7950 3GB, the XFX Black edition. Followed Word Not Allowed´s guide step by step, and, with the exact the same settings on Word Not Allowed´s guide, i was getting 12 FPS in his cloud test with Super Sampling enabled (in order to equal nvidia´s SGSS quality). I sold the card for 220€, added 180 and got an eVGA 670 FTW and overclocked it. Now, 27 FPS, more than 100% gain. In all other games (pCARS,rFactor 2, iRacing, etc), the card was fine, but i think (well, i´m sure now after lose a lot of money), that AMD card can´t compete with nvidia on AA performance, simply as that. Each system is defferent, i´m talking about my personal experience, if you DO NOT use FSX, then AMD cards are the best bang for the buck maybe, but for FS in general, it just does not work with an "minimal" AA for avoid shimmer.
