Just looking at the photos and "no one team member has all of X-Plane 10". Unless thier going to release the sim with that awfull sceanery.
So from those 2 bits of information (A few screenshots and "no one team member has all of x plane 10"), you deduced that XP10 won't be available for at least 6 months?*sigh*

No one person has all of it because they are all developing their own bits. I doubt its that hard to combine them. Currently (as for as I can tell), each developer is running older parts of the sim and their own new part. So Combining them should just be like updating the old files? And you still havent said where the Microsoft Flight release date came from.

I still want to know how you came up with the 6-12 months time frame.

Wow and I thought X-planers were smarter than this.. Am I the only one reading before they post here? It clearly states by the end of the year.

Are you avoiding the question?

strider1: Dude if you were a programmer which you aren't you wouldn't be going around saying it will take 6 months to compile.... so why are you saying anything given you have ZERO experience.

True, but after the integration of all the pieces in a project this size, testing can easily take 6 months or more. That is if they want to make sure it's released with as few problems as possible.

Thanks

"Why are you saying anything" Becuase this a forum ! Free speech on the internet has not been baned by the world government yet ! Or has it ? Bro, It's just my opinion from the photos I've seen and the comment about nobody having X-Plane 10.

Free speech is not a part of the avsim forums. You will find that a lot of things are not tolerated. Insulting people is one of them. Please read the rules and regulations that you should have read when you signed up.You're obviously not a part of Austin Meyers development team. The key figures who do work with him have all agreed it will be out by some time around the end of the year. I think I'll take their word over yours considering they have been working with him for several years. Do something useful with your time. Don't come here trying to troll the forums about a product you clearly have no interest in using.

At this point, I can barely follow this thread. All we know is that Laminar aiming for December or early January. Whether they will make it is unknown, but I would not be surprised if a somewhat buggy v10.0 was released that was basically a beta. Ive heard that with v9 it took quite a few updates to achieve real stability. I look forward to updates on v10's progress, and will continue to. And I plan to get a copy of v10 once it is out, even if it is somewhat buggy.Lets stop arguing over something stupid and pointless, shall we? Whether it comes out in 2 months or 4 months is not really that big of a deal to me. I mean, the CRJ is how many years in the making? Same with the xpj777! And the PMDG 737. This stuff takes a while! Lets just keep looking at the nice pictures?

That is absolutely correct. So let's tone this thread down a few notches and be civil. I hate locking threads.
