October 15, 201015 yr Hey there everyone, I was looking at the PFD picture comparisons that PMDG posted to show the comparison and realisticness between PMDG and the real world model when I noticed this: http://s952.photobucket.com/albums/ae2/Cubano_11/?action=view¤t=post-100334-095485100201285714450.jpgI used paint btw and it's just something that was bugging me.
October 15, 201015 yr That ruins whole "realistic" myth of PMDG! Kidding I bet that's how it looks in the 737 they used for reference. EDIT:Oh wait, that was the reference photo, ups
October 15, 201015 yr Author Yeah it does, i'm confused as to why they would put that there though :(
October 15, 201015 yr Wow, a dot? Glad we're not rivet counters here...The ? you have in the picture is due to lighting, fsx isn't that accurate and has nothing to do with PMDG. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
October 15, 201015 yr ahh...you appear to be the first to notice the FO inflate/deflate buttons. The source photos obviously came from RYR... :( Craig Sells
October 16, 201015 yr The rivets and line exist on some DUs but not others in real life. It depends on the part number of the display unit. Both are interchangeable but they obviously have some differences. I'm pretty sure the two rivets and the line are so that if the ambient light sensor needs to be replaced you don't have to pull off the entire bezel.I also don't think it would be uncommon to see a mix of the two different DU types in a real aircraft.Cam Jones

October 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member I asked Vin and he said he actually removed those by choice because something looked strange about it when it was mapped onto the model as a texture. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

October 17, 201015 yr Wow, a dot? Glad we're not rivet counters here...The ? you have in the picture is due to lighting, fsx isn't that accurate and has nothing to do with PMDG.We're not counting rivets... But if we did, they would probably be pretty close.
