December 13, 201015 yr Hi Guys,Firstly, sorry for another post inquiring about the Manuals delivery tracking. Now, I had received my tracking details last Wednesday night, item was shipped on the 9th and went from Chicago on the 10th at 18:00. Since then nothing has been updated, I have tried calling Pacelforce and I get an automated message about Scotland's weather.I'm not that concerned, yet, but have any other UK users, who have ordered the manuals, seen anything similar.Maybe the weather issues in the UK has seen recently has caused a backlog. I live in London. Chris Farrell
December 13, 201015 yr Commercial Member Chris,We don't have any more information than what's listed on the tracking - a lot of the non-FedEx options don't seem to be very good about updating with detailed tracking info - they just tell you it has shipped basically and you don't hear anything else until it arrives. If you haven't received anything in say another week or something like that, then ask again and we'll try to look into it. And there wont be.... until the parcel has been processed through customs, then parcel force will pay the charges, post you a letter, to which you must respond by paying up. Then they will arrange delivery. I would expect a week from dispatch from the USA until a letter through your door at a normal time of year. Just before Christma, probably longer. December 13, 201015 yr I ordered mine on December 7th and paid $85.15 for Express Mail International (EMS) delivery. Six days later my order is still being reported as 'This order has been processed', which I believe means either my package has been sent and the status not updated or PMDG have got so many orders to print that mine is still politely queuing. Anybody (and I know that everyone will have read the thread title and appreciate this is UK specific) experience a static 'This order has been processed' yet still receive their package whilst this status remained unchanged? Thanks

December 14, 201015 yr I ordered mine on December 7th and paid $85.15 for Express Mail International (EMS) delivery. Interesting that those who paid the express delivery still haven't got theirs. I ordered mine on the 5th but I don't think it shipped until the 7th. I only paid the Priority Mail International Parcels ($67.95)shipping costs though. Would be good to get an update if the PMDG guys are able to track the packages with any more accuracy than us? Ed Haslam
December 14, 201015 yr Commercial Member Brian-The printer advised us tonight that they ran out of stock in the binders that get used in production. This happened last week because initial demand FAR exceeded expectations. They had anticipated a shipment of binders late last week, but it did not arrive as scheduled- and it is now arriving this morning. (Massive blizzard where they are located...)They have assured us that all orders will ship by Wednesday at the latest.I'll keep an eye on your order.NOTE: For all others that have not yet shipped, I'll be monitoring all of those orders for shipment status on Wednesday afternoon. Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com

We have had some blizzards here in Scotland too, so my package will almost certainly be joining a huge backlog in some warehouse on this side of the pond. Not to worry, I already have a full set of original Boeing 738 PDFs to prepare with, thanks to a former flight school classmate. I'm guessing from the message about packages possibly coming from different places, that you have secured additional printing facilities to assist with the jetstream of orders you received, which will prove comforting to all those eagerly awaiting their packages. It would be great if you eventually informed us just how many orders you received for the manuals, I can't even begin to fathom a rough figure so it isn't surprising you were caught out, especially as you have to err on the side of caution. Congratulations to you and your great team at PMDG on the success of the manuals and, when it releases, the NGX. Brian O'Donnell
December 14, 201015 yr Author For those with 9th dispatch/10th Chicago departures. They arrived into UK on 13th and are waiting for customs clearance. Just have to wait, I guess.BTW, yes I paid for the 1-3 day delivery option. On the 6th day now, I'm not complaining btw. Chris Farrell

I'm not surprised there has been a delay given the backlog due to adverse weather and the time of year. Hopefully they will arrive before the weekend. Ed Haslam
