For those with 9th dispatch/10th Chicago departures. They arrived into UK on 13th and are waiting for customs clearance. Just have to wait, I guess.BTW, yes I paid for the 1-3 day delivery option. On the 6th day now, I'm not complaining btw.

Thanks for the info Chris. Did you call someone to find out this info? My status hasnt updated since it left the USA on the 10thI keep groaning when i see more snow on the way on the forecasts. Hope it does not get caught up somewhere near Hangar Lane in the snow like everything seems to! :)

I tried calling. No such luck as there's no way to speak to a human with Parcelforce. I went to the Parcelforce website and typed in the tracking number and checked the international parcel button. The tracking number has changed from ########US to #########GB.EDIT: the GB number will be different to the US, Also their International Hub is in Coventry, so it is likely that the weather conditions will slow things down, especially with snow due from Thursday onwards...not 100% but this is what I have found out.Hope this helps

For those interested, the package is out of customs with charges to be paid. Ouch! OK I'll just pay and let you know how much tax is due when I find out.

Hi Chris,How did you find this out? I did look at your other post before this one about it. I paid 6-10 day delivery, and the tracking still says it has left Chicago for both usps and parcelforce.Many Thanks,Mark Marshall

I put my original tracking number in the field on this pagehttp://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/track?catId=7500082and it came up with all the details. Looking at the details it took 3 days to cross the Atlantic. USPS is not a fast option and I wouldn't recommend it to those considering the manuals in the UK.

Uuumm? That must be really annoying, especially as you cannot speak to parcelforce directly.Regarding fees, it's a scam that parcelforce uses, they charge for collection from customs, around £14. I will see later how much it really is.

Fees are not toooooo bad i guess. I was fearful that any mis-labelling of the box or stupidity by Parcel Farce would result in the paying of VAT/Duty. Having said that... I havent heard about mine yet, so will reserve judgement.Keep me updated on progress... im interested to work out when it might arrive with me. Im really hoping before next wednesday which is when i go away for the hols!

Yeah, mine says the same. Very annoying!Hope I don't get charged either. There should't be any charge regardless of the shipper. As you say, sounds like a right scam!

They're not shipped as 'books' but 'photocopies' according to the docs I received with mine. There was nothing to pay on mine either (same as Chris Pawley above), UK also.That's not the Rob Bates I knew at GM Luton I hope, I'm hiding if it is.

They have charged me £40. Uuummm, I will query this when I see the invoice and receive details.

USPS/Parcelforce. I will collect it in a day or so in person to avoid further delays.

I got mine delivered with USPS/ParcelForce and I haven't been charged anything as far as I'm aware. How were you notified of the charges?
