Ariane discussion away from their official support forum (which I think they claim isnt actually their official support forum? but you cant access it without having purchased a product of theirs), always seems to lead to arguments and bad feeling.I feel I wasted a lot of money on their -800X2, uninstalled and deleted it a long time ago and put my loss down to a life lesson.When PMDG bring their Beoing endorsed 737NGX out, this may well be a happier place and Ariane will be a distant bad memory.

If I needed an NG so much I would just install FS9 again and buy the iFly which looks great, and seems to have developers actively working with the community to fix bugs and make it more enjoyable. That's what a good developers should do.

The irony in my case is lawyers have always helped me tremendously although mine were more the typical "life issues" such as how to deal with an employer who had laid me off (they wanted to avoid an unemployment claim--they lost) and how to deal with handling some complex government forms. I think lawyers are a great asset in the country if used on the side of being morally right. I feel if someone is using the legal system to intimidate, in the end they will suffer--either the ill will of the public, or the ill will of a former friend, or the ill will of a former colleague. I know how valuable connections are in this life--"burning bridges" works on both sides of the fence. My own feeling on this whole thread--I don't know which side is right or wrong. Maybe both are a little of both. But I know what this does for the hobby when someone volunteers their time for any party, payware or freeware, and gets hurt in the process. It doesn't matter if the wrongful party did not intend harm, it does matter how they deal with the perceptions of those that help them. As I said, I don't know if this applies in this case. But I hope the right people are reading and at least try to make amends, at least out of concern for the hobby.Regards,John
