Hi Dan,Yes, the intention of my post was to find a solution, of course. That's why I posted in the public forum.Anyway, the registry repair tool seems to have fixed the problem this time. The first time (before I re-installed my OS) it didn't do anything however, so it's still a bit of a mystery. Does the registry repair do anything else than reset the path that points to fsx.exe?

Antti, I am pretty sure that is all it does. Glad it worked for you.

It does need to be run as Admin to have any effect. The first time I had cause to use it, I missed that step and was more then a little frustrated when it didn't work.

I thought I run it as admin the first time too, but I could be wrong. However, everything's working smoothly now. Thanks to everyone for their help! And a special thanks to you Dan!

It seems to have affected both the 747X, and MD11X. I have tried running Flight 1 repair as admin, and unchecking all add-on scenery to no avail.

When I installed a new video card,with the new drivers, its now back to normal.

Hello,I have the same problem with all PMDG product, NAV display shows in true heading and it´s impossible to land in all airport,For exemple, the HDG for the LIRF RWY16L is 162°, but the PMDG intercept the LOC at HDG 155, and at 300ft, he SHOW "ONLY APPR" (MD11), it´s impossible to LAND.I have FS9Thx

Jim,Have you installed any RealityXP add-ons?

This happened to me as well with the MD-11 but I ran the Registry repair tool and that seemed to have cured it for me (happened a week and a half ago). I also just recently reinstalled my realityXP weather Radar, and it happened right after that.

Yep, the RealityXP weather radar seems to be the cause of the problem. At least when running the registry repair (as admin) right after installing the RXP radar, things should go back to normal.

Hello,I suddenly experienced this problem with the MD-11. Everything has worked fine previously, but now for some reason the runways displayed on the ND are always pointing to the true heading, meaning they are always some degrees off of the actual heading.I'm confused as to what could cause this problem. Any ideas/experience?

Antti,Sometimes I would like the runways to draw referenced to True North, the last couple of days.That is when flying in Polar regions.At normal Latitudes, the problem can be solved by using the Flight1 registry repair tool, if this does not help, Uninstall/Reinstall the product. Help is avail on the PMDG Support / Knowledge database.Regards,Harry

Hi guys hope some one can find a fix since for some strange reason i got the same problem now with pmdg 747 and the md 11, rwys are offset when lined up also when landing on auto land it will land to the left of the rwy.Just noticed today for some strange reason so anyone, i got rxp radar but i had this for a while the only difference is that i have just upgraded my pc to w7 64 bit recently and i have just reinstalled everything, including the xp wx500 radar and i really havnt landed on auto land till now or i didnt take much notice of the rwy aligment when lined up and hadnt any troubles till now the only addon on put on was the concorde x but i removed it to see if it had solved but it didnt any ideas much appriciated till then have to land manually which doesnt worry me but i liked to have things working as they shud thx againmmm ok i just did the reg repair tool from flight 1 i had a quick look in fsx to see if it worked b4 i went to bed and good news is that the rwy is ligned up correctly but havnt tested the landing yet cause its late and have to get to bed will post on the outcome tomorrow when i try to land and to see if the problem comes back again tomorrow hopefully i got this sorted out thx dan for ur post about the flight 1 tool

Tried reinstall and reg repair tool, No fix. Please tell me I don't have to reinstall Win-7 or FSX!!!!!
