Has any one heard of any redone Los Angeles Airport. Fly Tampa didn't make one (I have there San Diego, San Francisco), don't thing Aerosoft did. Only one of the busiest airports in the world. Any good redos anywhere - Payware or freeware. Thanks

Yes, FSDreamteam is doing a new version of KLAX, but it remains to be seen if they will do a FS9 version too. They have stated that if the version that they do now does not look any better than the older C9 KLAX, then they will not do a port. They primarily make it for FSX. However, they say it could come as a "late christmas gift", so perhaps in january. Personally, it is KLAX and KMIA (which they'll do after KLAX) that I look forward to the most.

Cloud 9 KLAX still looks good in FS9 and worth the price today. It was developed by the same guys at FSDreamteam, just represents their earlier stuff...not bad stuff. I just flew through KLAX real world...Cloud 9 is still a good choice for this airport.The new FSDreamteam KLAX is going to be for FSX only...

No, it's not. They never said that they had made their mind up. The only thing they said is that it's not sure whether they will do a FS9 version or not:"We said we'll TRY to make an FS9 version, with some limitations with the actual resolution. If the result would be decent, meaning not worse than the Cloud9 version, but with the airport fully updated, we'll release it for FS9, but if it will look bad, I guess everyone would agree it's no use releasing a scenery that looks worse than a 4 years old one." By the way, what's actually the price of Cloud9's KLAX? I can't find it anywhere.

Wooow.... That's still rather expensive... I think I'll wait and see what FSDT does with their new KLAX. If they end up not doing a FS9 version, I'll get the Cloud9 one. Even with the current sale I'm not going to pay that much for a 4-year-old scenery.Anyway, thanks for the link!

Benjamin, your going broke man lol :( it is not my fault I swear :( :( I think some people that complain about the detail or lack of detail in the klax scenery are insane honestly. it is indeed old but the techniques and art are still good well at least to me it is. B) I'm definitely buying the new klax even it only comes out for fsx but hopefully fsdt can pull it off and get that fs9 version out. now we have microsoft flight to worry about in the next years.

I'm indeed going broke -.- I have never bought so much in one month as this december, mostly because I have found great interest in flying in America all of a sudden. And so I have started buying all kinds of addon scenery during all the great sales we had (and still have) this christmas. Anyway, you are right: Cloud 9's KLAX isn't bad at all. The problem for me is that it doesn't have AES support. It has spoiled me and I rarely fly to airports that don't have it... So that would be my reason to purchase FSDT's new KLAX if they make it for FS9.
