So....sarcasm and intimidation is an appropriate way to respond to someone you think is being sarcastic? And, no, that statement is not directed toward anyone in general, just the overall theme of this thread.I, for one, think it's quite inappropriate on any forum.

I think you are all being a tad harsh on the guy. Some of you seem to take his remarks personally or something. After all, it's only an internet forum....:( The only people who fell for the Airsimmer 'trick' were those who didn't refund it after 30 days. But if you went for the Extended Team...well, thats a different story.EDIT: I'm going to post a link to this on the Airsimmer forum to see how fast it gets deleted. :(
Sorry Old Chap but I don't think they are being harsh on him. From all that I have seen over on the AS forum and how he has treated people I think he only has himslef to blame. If there had been just a shred of honesty and a little humility, peoples reaction to Ryan may have been somewhat different. I doubt he would ever treat people face to face they way he does hiding behind an electronic wall. To be fair to him though I don't think he has any business of customer management experience which may explain alot. The fact is, no matter how much they deny it, their reputation is unrecoverable and they only have themsevles to blame. It is one thing keeping quiet on release dates etc as the majority of developers do, but their downright arrogance in how they operate is simply astounding. RegardsKarl

This is :( an excuse. There are plenty of corner grocery stores that hire a part-time sellers.Very good school for marketing and customer relations. :( Not need a master's degree in marketing ... :( Regards.madnoel.gifGus.

LOL.gifLOL.gif Oh that made me laugh. But you have got a very valid point. We don't expect every person you deal with in retail to have such experience but I doubt that any of them could be quite as obtuse as he is, and in general such people tend to give a good service as they care about having a job and what they do. And in most cases, speaking from personal experience, if you get it wrong just admit it and say sorry. 99% of the time you will be forgiven and will actually get far more respect for your honesty.RegardsKarl

I learned my lesson with the Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100 sillyness which had us believing there'd be a VC in a future update. I almost bit the bait on this one too, but fortunately I remembered how angry I was/still am at Digital Aviation and decided to bide my time."Never buy unfinished products" is what I learned. Now a whole lot more have learned it too. Perhaps it'll mark some kind of end to the "misleading advertising and unkeepable promises" cultures of FS addon developers. I appreciate PMDG's business style more and more because of this, even though I think they could treat us with a bit more information/pictures/feature "leaks" along the way.

I am yet to understand how all this repetitive moaning, complaining, frustration unloading about AirSimmer's suboptimal support can be of any help or have any positive effect at all to the development of the project itself.A company found by enthusiastic FS developers, who do not achieve their goals in a predetermined time frame, showing little customer service experience, gets torn apart by their unforgiving, relentless, flightsimmer fellows.Go figure.
