AirSimmer A320 Warning

Featured Replies

I just noticed that they deleted my post (which was the first mentioning the suspension). Well, I guess I won't be going back to that forum again. Really poor form. Least they could do is to be mature about it. Lots of companies have cashflow and other issues, it's communication that makes the difference. Oh well.

Cheers,

Mack

wow, sucks for me... i bought their A320 thinking there were some tiny bugs and it could probably be ironed out but no.... that was a huge bag of bugs with no way to be fixed!!

I just want to know which hospital that Ryan Briggs is in so I can send a 'get-well' card? :( :( LOL.gif
Every time I see that guy here in these forums I make sure I give him a good beat down, what he gets for choosing to participate in a scam in our community. :(

Is this company for real? The a320 was released over 1 year ago and i have not completed 1 single flight in it. I clung on in hope that they would at least make everyone aware they were working on a fix for this thing and they havent even got the manners to inform there paying customers. I had even defended these thieves and didnt request a refund as i believed they would come through, how nieve was i! I hope they get there karma for ripping everyone off and maybe we will see them again.......on rouge traders.

Well they are the ones that have to look at themselves in the mirror every morning.

It was apparent this company had cash flow issues (or were just plain greedy) way back at the unprecedented 'Extended Team' (pay to) beta offer. Who does that???! All the positive PR speak/spin :( in the world could not disguise how weird that was. Subsequently by their own mismanagement they've demonstrated they were never ready for prime time as a group :( Anyway - live and learn - hopefully no real harm done to anyone.

Regards,

Mark

I don't really have the time nor energy to freak out over "lost" 60 bucks or less. All I see is that what they've created - which despite the bugs looks REALLY good. I'm sad that their bus probably won't see any more updates. Hmpf.

System specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz; 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz; 8 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (NVIDIA)

pretty sad to see how this whole debacle turned out, especially given the fact that i'm yet to see them actually say anything regarding it (or maybe they're in the licensed members forums??)...all i'm seeing thus far is any inquiry regarding it or any criticism of the product/service being deleted by the mods there....i'm wondering how samdim design group is affected regarding this though (given from their website seems they were/are a part of airsimmer....please correct me if i'm wrong on this though...)--Pict/Xavier

More than the monetary figure, their methods indicated how they think and what to probably expect from them going forward (so said, so done - poor products, poor support, etc etc). 60 bucks might not be much to gamble (who hasn't lost far more?) but to me it was just plain old principle that kept my pennies in my wallet.

I should have known better, card carrying sceptic that I am. The thing that strikes me is the arrogance of the principals, Zoya and Vasilius. Without wishing to appear too childish, a contraction of Zoya's surname says it all really :)

We've all been there Scott, I ignored my own skepticism this past year and almost lost far more than mere fs addon dollars in a car purchase deal with a supposed 'friend' of nearly 20 years. :rolleyes:Sad the lack of basic integrity with so many these days, but such people reap what they sow, it comes back, and I pity them all.

Ain't that the truth and it seems that other fs websites are carrying links to this thread - let's hope these crumbs never get the chance to steal another dollar from anyone else.

Scott, the two posters after you are right. I fell for this too. I waited for quite sometime, and went for it, only to find out it was anything but close to being finished. If there were a cautious buyer, that was me, but not this time.Trust is a human instinct that opens up the door to major disappointment. Brutus anyone.I kept the faith, and was hopeful, and let all the warning signs go unnoticed because it seemed to have potential.Alas, the "strategy" was non existent. They hoped, it seems to me, to reap the benefits of this quickly, even though it only caters to a small audience. Perhaps they saw PMDG's success at creating complex aircraft and thought why not us, without planning, or realizing how complex the aircraft was.The rest though, is just plain sad as far as I am concerned. But as was mentioned before, what goes around comes around, and I will add a few letters to that and make it Harder.I have (collecting serious dust) many add-ons I do not use, so luckily for me, the $60 is not that bad of a loss. The loss comes from the result of this fiasco. I learned my lesson sure enough, but what does that say for the future?A new developer shows up, and we will most probably sit on the sidelines for quite sometime reading peoples post to make sure all is well. In the meantime, that means less sales, and less profits for the new developer who then decides it is not worth the effort.I hope we all come out of this with the "right" lessons, and still keep the faith and trust that has for so long kept this small community strong.

What I could never understand was how Vasilius can make take the time and effort to post away on the knock off site at will, but he can only find time to make a small post about once a month on his own payware site?BAH!

So do I - I fear that once bitten twice shy may impact on other developers. What I do know is that I will never ever purchase an addon from anyone associated with Airsimmer; Vasilius, Zoya, Nik, and all associated others beware - your names are now sullied with the sewerage that Airsimmer has become. I will monitor where you end up and will continue to alert any non-suspecting users as to your deceitful behaviour.
