Very odd! :( here my screenshot of klga v2 fsx with acceleration I have to really think about this one lol. somethings really off. I would fellow Mikes advice if you have aes it could also cause a mess.

Aerosoft's Airport Enhancement Services. Like service vehicles and fully animated and dockable jetways. Sometimes when you get double jetways or no jetways at all, it's an indication that AES has not been properly activated/deactivated for an airport.

No, I don't have AES. Anyway, I try doing what you said, making sure all trace of previous KLGA install was gone. Started fresh, first with the original KLGA FSX, went in and look, no joy. Then I added V2, again went in, still no joy. I then added the V2 patch, all that did was help improve the runway lights, but the buildings are still dark, and no gangway at the terminals except for the southeast terminals by runway 4. I don't have any issues any where else with any of my other addons, whether it be payware or freeway, except for this addon. Here is new screenies I took after all of this;Southeast terminal daytime by runway 4Same as above, ground levelAir Canada terminal next to runway 31American Airline terminal near the towerAmerican Airline hanger areaAmerican Airline terminal at night. I wanted to bring back this topic because I found a solution to this problem. But, there is one more thing we need to fix, because it seems to me that Imaginesim does not care to fix it.There was a patch issued right after FSX's version was released. I was lucky to have that patch saved. I installed the patch right after the initial FSX and there was lighting in the buildings.After that I installed V2 and all lighting worked, except that the ILS system is not working anymore. If anyone has a fix to the ILS, I would certainly appreciate a fix.For now what I have done is installed the FSX version and first patch. Then I substituted (deleted) this file runways_01.bgl, and replaced it with the new file (in V2) file name runway_lights_01.bgl. The runway light look much better now.If anyone knows what files control the ILS, then all I need to do is save the old file and replace into V2 because the ILS system works without V2 upgrade.Thanks,JoseBTW: Ask Imaginesim to release the FSX patch. I've had this issue for months, every time I've emailed them for support they've came back with some idiotic response that not only insulted my intelligence but also made me think that dealing with them wasn't worth my energy. Worthless worthless worthless, no more money from me to this establishment.

The sad part is that they did issue an initial patch, but it did not really fix the lighting. Then they issue a V2 that eliminates the ILS.Take TJSJ for example. I bought it for FSX and the pictures on their site show trees everywhere. They issued a patch that eliminated the trees. What a shortcut! Laziness? Irresponsible? They should consider fixing some of their older airports instead of creating new ones.I say this not to disparage but to encourage. KLGA and TJSJ are great airports if they would just fix the minor issues. It would also cajole me to buy the KATL, KIAD, and VHHH.

Imaginesim is an incredible disappointment. I initially purchased KATL and loved it--it's great- so I bought KLGA, KCVG and KCLT. KCVG worked fine but KLGA and KCLT suffered the 1 FPS nite lights problem. I reported the issue to them and they told me they are working on "fixes". (I put that in quotes because the fixes break more than they fix). The KLGA "fix" gave me the black buildings and they have yet to fix Charlotte. Since then they have released an update for KATL that I am terrified to install because my KATL now at least works and I have heard the fix causes the "blobby" light problem. I bought this stuff 2+ years ago and I am still waiting for decent fixes. They have had time to release new projects but no time to fix their current stuff.Usually I am a patient and supportive buyer of add-ons (look at my sig) but they fail to fix the issue or even support thier products in a minimal way. I agree with you 100% at least i bought them when they were on sale last year...sale prices were on par with Blueprint Simulation sceneries ( I own CYUL and KLAX)so i'm not too dissapointed :( Off topic Jim, can't help but chuckle a little at your sig comment " And I paid for it all "I too own a LOT of payware (less plane but more sceneries than you) and always refrain putting them in my sig so nobody would think i could be a pirate :( Bad times when honest people need to justify themselves... :Thinking:Alain from Montreal

And here I thought I was messed up something with tjsj! :( and the trees lol but i agree with everyone here I really wish Imaginesim would start fixing there sceneries I would never want them to leave the flightsim business but being one of the oldest developers in flightsim you would think they would be more caring to there customers. I once asked if there was a way to disable that awful blinking lights in there ramp vehicules they said they couldn't as it was part of the model, they have been using the same model for there ramp vehicules for years now and the light blinking drive me nuts so I deleted them you have to wonder the reason for them not having a fourm. I do wish and hope they do change for the better in the future.

The same old song and dance with their KDEN scenery for FSX. There are many things that need to be fixed and they refuse to fix anything. Here is my initial email and a response I received.There are several issues I have come across that need to be addressed. I noticed there is no support forum so I decided to email.1) blurry approach lights when landing. I don't have this issue on any other airports.. payware or freeware.2)at night the vehicle lights stay on even when parked. It looks unrealistic to see flashing lights all over even if the vehicle is parked.3)the tower view is not a tower view at all but a overhead view. Yes I have had that too. I like their WSSS scenery too. Seems to be an improvement on their others. But Flytampa and FSDreamteam and Aerosoft seem to offer EXCEPTIONAL support!Daniel

I will chalk this up as a lesson learned not to purchase products that don't offer support or have a forum. FSDT, Flytampa and Aerosoft do put out exeptional products but Imaginesim has been put on my blacklist from now on.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I have the same problem. Black buildings and no jetways. :-(

So I re-download this of simMarket today because on my backup drive I had a copy which had the dark terminals.....the version I re-downloaded appears to be very different. No ADE update, no V2 needed....and low and behold no dark terminals....appears if you you got it through sim market just redownload the fsx version 

 

Imaginesim_KLGA_FSX.exe   is the file sadly doesnt show what version....but all I can say is everything is working just fine!

 

I noticed in my scenery.cfg the title specifies "Imagine Simulation - KLGA La Guardia FSX V2.0"

before it had just stated "Imagine Simulation - KLGA La Guardia"
