I've said it before, but I absolutely hate the "new" livery. Why oh why couldn't they have just done a brand new combined corporate image or something that modernized aspects of both liveries? Whatever the heck that globe thing is on the tail looks like it's from some Office 97 Power Point clipart.

i thought that the new livery would look horrible on the 747 but I have to admit its not that bad, but I do agree that there should have been a new livery made once they merged. i really think that they kept the old livery because they didn't want the identity of COA to disappear since the name is now United.

You're right. It just looks like they very badly misspelled Continental. If it's going to be United, they have to at the very least keep the 'crest' thingy.

I've got one for everyone that looks much better....United Colors.:(

Just to add a bit more to the "livery" discussion, Having the bold paint job of United slapped on, Continental Globe on the tail and having Continental colors......YUK.:(
