April 1, 201115 yr Moderator May 30http://www.simw.com/product-containers/ifly/ifly-737ng-fsx.html?___store=sen&___from_store=senThat's good news that it will be May 30 and not April 8th. The longer the better, that way I wont be tempted to buy it and then the PMDG version. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
April 1, 201115 yr I think PMDG makes the greatest products. But is it me, or do the cockpit windows seem a little too big. Ifly's VC seems more accurate. Again, I'm probably wrong. But this is why I'm leaning towards ifly, because it's complex enough for me and VC dimensions appeal more to me. And I'm affraid that because of all the functionality of PMDG, it will take a performance hit. Even though they state smooth fps, I have to say that their MD11 is one of the heaviest on my system.

As of the dimensions of the PMDG 737NGX, they modeled everything according to actual Boeing engineering documents/blueprints, so it is reasonable to assume that the 737NGX VC is an accurate representation of the real cockpit. The way something appears on the NGX is the way it appears on the real deal. Shane Gavin
April 1, 201115 yr May 30http://www.simw.com/product-containers/ifly/ifly-737ng-fsx.html?___store=sen&___from_store=senTo make it absolutely clear :That is nót a Flight1 ór iFly release date.It will be done when it is done.
April 2, 201115 yr I'm almost considering getting this to hold me over until the PMDG version comes out, but I really hate spending money to buy the same model of a/c twice. If only I had a good estimate of how much longer it wil be before the PMDG hits the market it would make my decision a little easier, ie PMDG less than 6 months I would not buy iFly - PMDG more than 6 months I will probably buy. Be just my luck I get the iFly then PMDG announces theirs goes to beta, lol.It will be interesting to see the feedback from FSX users once its out. only 50$ (price of a meal for two at a restaurant).. get both ..
April 2, 201115 yr Moderator only 50$ (price of a meal for two at a restaurant).. get both ..I don't mind spending money, I just dont like wasting money. Besides the fact that the PMDG version will probably be around $80 and the iFly will be around $55 if they price it the same as the FS9 version which I don't own (can't get the $15 FSX update). So, buying both versions would be aprox. $135. If I could get both for $50 maybe I would but for the price two cost, its a waste of money in my opinion.
