I think it would be a great idea (once the NGX is released) if all of us gather for a groupflight from KBFI or KRNT to one destination. We would all fly any airline of our choice on VATSIM and perhaps join up on a random VOX channel. If we get enough guys in on this, we can all take a vote on what our route would be.Who's in?
I recently have joined vatsim and have not flown yet. Whats the experience like? Is it crowded or low on traffic? Im so exited! I played on fsx multiplayer but it was crap! Everyone is very bad at flying there

I'm in.

Are you planning on having a line of NG's holding short at KBFI and KRNT? How nice would that look, to have hundreds of NGX's flying out of Seattle.

Thanks,

That would look great;) and imagine how the controllers at the destination airport will be shocked if hundreds of NGs want to land at the same time :) better take some extra fuel for holdings :)

Thanks for that. I tried Squackbox for my first time tonight and it worked. All my other times were FSInn.
Eric,I use FSINN and LOVE it. I prefer it over SB for several reasons; main one being that you can assign certain aircraft models to pilots connected around you. So say during the event, while everyone is in the NGX, Squawkbox will assign ugly generic VIP models, while in FSINN, you can assign said pilots the NGX model.Hit me up on Skype and I will help you get set up.

Yep, since FS fuel is free , I'm going to leave KRNT or KBFI with a full tank of fuel.Big%20Grin.gif

I don`t get all this vip livery stuff. It looks bad but why does it show it and how do I know my plane does not have that awful livery? And why SB, doesn`t FSinn not have that issue. I chose SB over FSinn because it seemed better, I first downloaded fsinn and had huge trouble. Thanks anywayJoe Barton

VATSIM is sometimes crowded, sometimes not. I personally like the BVATC group, they fly mainly in the North-East so all their users are compacted into one ARTCC for more traffic.

Don't go too heavy or you'll be left behind Big%20Grin.gif.Btw, count me in too. This will be a great day for us pilots and a huge headache for the controllers :(.

The experience is AWESOME, after my first flight I was shaking and drenched in sweat. I felt like taking a new flight right away. Its very addictive! As for traffic levels, they are in general quite a bit lower than real life, and the same goes for ATC coverage. During events traffic levels can exceed real life levels tho.

A suggestion: in order to get some VATSIM controller coverage, arrange something with the Seattle ARTCC events coordinator.http://www.seaartcc.net/general/contact.php
